The Article module is both very easy to configure and use as well as extremely powerful and flexible. This is probably the best implemented DNN module I've ever worked with. Support from maker was great on a different module we bought from them.

Great module... allows me to use one container that has a background image and put multiple modules, such as Text/HTML, forms and list, and flash player, ect in this container. Also, flash players can have text wrapped around them because this module generates the code for existing modules and inserts in into an HTML/text editor. I have been using ZLDNN since the regular module wrapper and this is even better. It has the ability to scroll text/modules too! I would highly recommend!

Gives you some nice layout flexibility, but it has a few bugs. I tried to use an existing Portal with this module wrapper as a template for other sites. But it didn't copy over to the new Portal correctly. It actually kept references to modules from the original Portal instead of making copies of them. I had to start over on those pages.

I had tried a few other CMS for DNN and was not too impressed with the quality or the support. DNNArticle has everything you need right out of the box to create exactly what you want for your site! Using their template editor and custom fields you can create anything. Their support is excellent and very quick to respond. I am very happy with my purchase!

I bought this module over a year ago and I still can't beleive all of the features it offers! You can import and export map data from a database or Excel file, it has a built-in directions feature for any map point, it allows pop-up baloons which provide detailed information for each map point when clicked on, allows for multiple map layers (including GeoRSS and EML!), and is extremely easy to configure and manage.
Also, ZLDNN's customer support is AMAZING. I have asked several question regarding the module over the past year and Lei has responded almost immediately each time! Plus, I bought this module over a year ago and I got the upgrade to Advanced Biz Maps for FREE and I am still getting patch updates for Advanced Biz Maps for FREE! Additionally, I asked Lei a question on the ZLDNN helpdesk last week and he is still helping me out with my question! You won't get this support with any other company.

Not real happy at all with this module. Host site shows examples that I have yet to see work with this module. Zero tech support, can't see to delete a gallery once created. Not a very good use of lightBox technology. Save your money and look at another company. I would not recomend ANY PRODUCT from this company.
I actually bought the ENTERPRISE version figuring it was a really good product. I was wrong lesson learned here.

Lot of features and very customisable. Great watermark feature, security, and templates for layout. But it's difficult to set up and admin. I had to make a short and detailed manual for the client to use it. Also not the prettiest layout.

I am absolutely delighted with this product.
While I was aware of ZLDNN products for several years, I underestimated the quality because the web site is not particularly slick. I have been through three other article managers. This one blows them away in terms of power and flexibility.
It is a well-thought out collection of modules that allow you to set up a wide range of content management systems. I am managing both blogs and a web resource list. A custom editor and additional fields adds to the flexibility.
In addition, Lei's support is first rate - prompt, helpful and courteous.
I cannot image why the previous reviewer gave this a single star with no explanation. IMO this is my go to article manager from now on. And at the price, it's a real value.

This module is great! I have one minor alignment problem that ZLDNN support is looking into for me, but this module does exactly what is says. My company has been using ZLDNN's Module Wrapper for years and we recenly upgraded to version 5.4.2, which has even more features than the version we were using! My company was recently looking to buy a new map module and we chose ZLDNN's Business Map module because we were so happy with the module wrapper. I had a problem importing map points from our old map module and support quickly recognized it was a bug importing the description field and they are fixing the problem and promised me a patch this week! I couldn't ask for better customer service!

I love the floating Module, a great idea that works well and increases your "real estate" by adding content that can be displayed as needed. With the admin interface it is easy to set up and use, with several options. With most of ZLDNN modules; they always include options to "modify" the look and feel. My only issue is some modules don't play to well with the floating Module, not that it is a bug or anything, modules with paging as an example may not return to the proper page.
** The Floating Module is a very nice module and I recommend it for everyday use. Makes a slick site look even slicker.

I have been using Ventrian's News Article for many years now. And I did not think I should find a better article module.
I have seen this DNNArticle, but I haven't tested it out. But when it got multi language support, I purchased it (with options).
Now I can only say: It's great!
All what Ventrian's NewsArticle are missing, the DNNArticle have, like:
- Slideshows.
- Category slideshows.
- TagClouds.
- Multi language support.
- Lightbox gallery.
Now I'm planning to moving all my customers with Ventrian's NewsArticle to DNNArticle.
Great modules with great add-ons. Great support from the team.

After accidentally buying an older version (5.2) of this module, the staff did a great job in helping me get the latest version. Upgrading was easy, and I'm very pleased with the galleries this module allows me to create.
I selected this module because it allows me to easily create nested albums and edit information quickly when bulk uploading files. Styling my collections is also straightforward, and search and rss work nicely out of the box.
The help texts in the module and the manual could be a bit more explanatory, but on the overall the module is easy enough to work with. Because of the options available and the support I got so far, I feel a 5 star rating is fitting.

Overall, this is probably the best module I have purchased for DNN. The user interface is extremely simple and they pack in plenty of documentation to get you started. It does exactly what I expected it to do, (not to mention what I was disappointed the DNN core map module didn't).
The only con is that the when you use the Google Maps directions functionality, it sends the long and lat to Google instead of the address. It works fine (and probably is more accurate) but it makes it confusing for users who want to confirm the address when getting directions.

Was extremely excited about this module, but in it's current structure it disappointing, as it's uses are extremely limited to modules with very basic HTML text. Mostly because of incompatibility with different browsers. For example in Safari and Firefox on my Mac, it recognizes that pictures are coming from the portal of the original site, however in Internet Explorer on my PC, it wants to start pulling the picture from the root folder of my domain, but then continue pulling from the portal for the other site - hence - missing pictures in IE. Even if I upload pics from the captured site to my site, the portals don't match up. It also seems to get confused with the 'Live Tabs' Modules. Some captured TEXT/HTML modules show up on certain tabs, some won't'. If coding could be added that would correct the primary issue (conflicting domain name/portal issue in IE), it would be well worth the money overall.

Very disappointed in this module. I tried using with DNN 4.9.0 and 4.9.4 on two separate platforms. Module editing will periodically result in the crash of the entire website with the following display.

Not sure how popular this module is yet but it is going places. I really did not expect to find something like this but I searched snow and there it was. If you want a pre-fab mod with the functionality similar to answers.com or other community based q and a systems this mod is for you. Even has a satellite mod for profile integration!

The module seems pretty good, but support is harmful. I personally took 2 weeks waiting for a response on the resolution of a problem in my web module. And I have not even gotten my answer to my first message.

Very good multi-media gallery. I appreciate the security features (certain roles can add media, others can moderate) and it simply works as opposed to most of the other modules I've tried so far.
Support is quick and good as well - had some problem to get it to work on DNN 5.1.1, and within a week: wham, version 7.8 was out and working.
One minus: not XHTML compliant code at the moment, but I've already raised that concern and they are working on it for the next big release.

This module has A TON of features, but it was lacking one item I really wanted. I emailed the developer and he created a custom module for me in two days. TALK ABOUT SERVICE. Oh, it's also bug free, easy to install, works great, and well done.

Despite the best attempts by the author to resolve issues I found with this product there remains several unresolved issues.
1. The styles don't work in IE for many skins (3/4 of the ones I tried).
2. The labels are not accurate, i.e. a news story from CNN will be labeled Fox News and vice versa.
3. The "sort by date" function is imperfect. Some items get stuck at the top or fall down the list only to rebound to the top later.
The author released a new version but it did not resolve these issues. If these issues could be resolved I would give it five stars.

It is really confusing to use this module.
The userguide is not very clear, far from compleet and I suspect badly translated. Also the alternated texts that can give you some more help are often the same text as the original label and it's very hard to understand what an options means. It's a lot of guessing, trial and error and loosing a lots of time figuring things out.
Nothing helpfull to find on their website neither.
I have the impression some settings cannot be changed and are harcoded.
I would like to see some effects added to.
Pro's are the scanning function, great for large libraries and the on-the-fly thumbnail/picture size generator

Unfortunately, I couldn't get this working with DNN 5.0.1 (even a fresh install).
I'm hoping this will be fixed (I e-mailed the developer) because it is a very useful module (used it with previous versions of DNN).

Because of some break changes between DNN 5.0.0, 5.0.1 and 5.1.0, the Module Wrapper 5.0( that is for DNN 5.0.0) cannot work with DNN 5.0.1 and 5.1.0. There are new versions of Module Wrapper for those DNN versions. You can find new versions in Patches&Hotfixes sections.
This is quite a buggy module, there are alot of little issues that it has for instance it will not allow you to return bank to the Home Url and keeps you inside the current context even when you try to navigate home. It does not display Description text properly on Templates, it will not allow you to add a clickable email address to the lightbox gallery

DNN Article is a great module for sorting through and easily presenting volumes of information. The admin interface is easy to use and very flexible. I have used it for a non-profit organisation who need to publish all kinds of info in PDF and other formats and it works great. Version 6 also has many improvements.

ZLDNN DNNArticle is flat out the best DNN Article Module around. I have used several other articles modules and finally tried this one. I just works. Everything you need is here; Complete control over the look, easy template modification, Clouds, search, you name it. Let me point out it works flawless with live writer - makes posting articles a flat out breeze with beautiful results. The best just got better with version 8.2, and it continues to get better every time.
I highly recommend this as your DE-FACTO DNN Article module. Do yourself a favor.

They say this is an easy to use module and they are right. I found that I could install it, took a bit of reading and re-reading the User Guide to understand it... but the effort was worth it. I had a hiccup, and their response was well within the time frame, and they went the extra mile to be helpful. They are attentive and resolution oriented. The Lightbox Gallery is indeed versatile, and one of the cool features is that you can resize your thumbnails to the size YOU want, whether it be the horizontal or vertical, or even both! You need to add at least one photo to get the menu and then you can have such FUN! Beautiful to look at, professional if it needs to be. I am thrilled I purchased this!

The DNN Map module is good but can be fildley to set up. This module solves that problem while also providing street view. I haven't tested out the more advanced features but it really takes only 5 mins to get running and works as advertised. Nice work Lei.

If you are looking for an image/media gallery that will allow members of your community to upload their own pictures without giving them edit rights to the module, Then you should definitely be looking at Multi Media Gallery Pro. We are using it for a online gamming community website where we encourage our members to post picture and screen shots. This module works perfectly.

I can tell you the DNNArticle is the most professionel software I have encountered for a long time. It is the best Article based publishing software. I had to remove the previous one that I had originally purchased (Won't name it here), to install DNNArticle 5.7. All the features that you'd want are there, and more...Great job guys !

It wasn't picking up the RSS correctly for some reason. RSS feeds weren't refreshed for a day. So I decided not to use this product. Note: This could be caused by my end. It might work for you perfectly.

Found product as advertised. Installation was a breeze. Had some minor issues with how rating emails were handled. When I asked the vendor for assistance they sent me update file within hours that completely resolved the issue. Support was great, recommend this product and Service. Client is now working on site so gallery content is being added slowly...

The developers of the module fixed the loading issue quickly after I posted the below complaint with patch 5.8.3. This was either a very quick and efficient fix for a customer or an easy correction that wasn't made until someone complained...
The latest version of the Article Module is complete garbage. Anything newer than 4.6 is worthless. If you want to see a non-responsive dnn portal install this module and your portal will take 45 seconds to respond. I've written the authors and they don't respond on the issue. ...
The author of this article quickly made the changes that I had requested in my original review so I increased the rating. Very good module, being used on eScoutRoom.com.

Does everything you would want a module of this type to do, cleanly and efficiently. Works "straight out of the box" unlike some other content management modules I've tried and is easy to use and manage. ZLDNN is a well established DotNetNuke developer so you can feel assured that you'll get long-term support and roadmap with this product.

If you ever need to track your visitors movements on your site this is the module you should buy. I advertised my site on Google and I can see what my visitors were doing on my site. This module helped me to diagnose my site. It shows all the visitor IP address, session times, path maps and most importantly the search url used by the search engine to get to your site (good for SEO). Really valueble information. I am a .NET programmer not a DNN programmer and a developer's point of view ZLDNN.COM has done a fantastic job.

This has plenty of options. A good user manual. Easy to set-up. Very good price for the features it provides. I was able to set up pictures AND Video easily.

Installed fine, simple interface was easy to setup and configure. About the only thing I wish it did was allow me to link to an external URL as the source of the MP3. My file server is not my web server, so I have to copy files to the web server in order to get this thing to work, which is cumbersome. Otherwise, most folks will be happy with their purchase.

I have been using ZLDNN's Module Wrapper for well over a year, and it works very well for creating attractive page layouts without need for complicated skins/containers. In other words, you can create a table-based page layout within a single container.
ZLDNN has always provided excellent support. Prompt and friendly resolution to problems. Highly recommended!

Very useful module to have. Easily configurable and thanx to the team I've had my minor changes added into the core product for others to use. If you need an advanced FAQ system then this is the one to choose.

This is a feature rich module but perhaps too complex. I've had a little trouble with some settings, but the biggest problem is with tryign to get the product to do something and not receiving any support from the maker. I'm simply not receiving any corresspondence in return to my inquiries.

This component does not perform as per the user guide. It keeps causing exceptions. This component also was incapable of integrating bulk photographs already on the site.
I wrote to the vendor for support, but never got a reply.
Stay away you will waste your money.

Great module for the price, and good tech support. They are happy to take in ideas and make improvements for future versions for those of us very picky on how we want a photo gallery to work. ;) Overall, fairly customizable.

Makes your site much more professional. The module is invisible but superiour. It makes complex design possible. You need a fixed width cell in a varaible width skin? this module is your friend!. It's one of the great additions to any website.

I love this thing... It can be used in a lot of ways, but it's not "abstract" to the point that one doesn't know how to start... I have a very content-heavy site, MemphisHistory.com, and this module allows me to get very very specific, especially about terminology without eating up a lot of real estate or creating new pages. I am very satisfied with this module.

There is a bug that in the 1st run of the page the 1st picture that you put in the slideshow is changing very fast (not the same as the others pictures)
I reported the developer about it 2 weeks ago in still didn't get a fix. I feel that the product support is not enough at all.

We have tried several photo gallery modules and this one is by far the best. It has every feature we want and it very easy to use. My times when developers add features to modules they become to complex for the end user to cope with....this is not the case with ZLDNN PhotoAlbum. Best of all, we haven't found a bug yet! Also, we have made a couple of support requests for additional features or slight tweaks of additional features and the developer has been excellent in their response. Most of the time they have got back to us in minutes. In my experience this kind of service is really rare with DNN modules. This is a great module....you won't go wrong purchasing it!

I've been using Module Wrapper for about six months now and version 4.0 since its release. This is a must have module for anyone setting up a portal. This one of my most important modules and it works as advertised. There are a lot of options but my favorite is wrapping my RSS news feeds and providing a manual scroll bar.

Nice album. Easy to use. Comment feature can not be disabled completely (only partly through security). Module caching interferes with viewing photos. They only show in thumbnail size. When done viewing the album the 'Back' links bring the users back to were they were before. This button could be at a more visible spot and maybe called "Done viewing". I recomend this album anyway. - Tom

I must say that I am really impressed with this module. I used ALL images modules and looked for one with comments and ratings but you are the only one !
I also could implement a way for users to upload their own pictures, you can take a look at http://www.trip-thailand.com.
A few things that I can suggest and that would make this module even better(most of them are implemented in the best images module for DNN 2.1.2 - PhotoAlbum3, that got no version for DNN 3), are :
1. Alboms - Like elephants, zibras, dogs etc. A even more sophisticated thing would be to tag pictures to multiple categoris, like Adobe Photo Album.
2. A way to choose that each uploaded picture won't be approved automatically, but just after an administrator saw it - like with the comments - but there would be one administrative screen that shows all the new pictures and a way to approve each one or all. The same thing should be with the comments as well, because that when having 1200 pictures it's not logical to go into each picture to approve a comment.
3. A way for every user to manage his own pictures - If a user has uploaded an image and want to delete it, change the title and such as well as administrate his comments to his image.
All these things are things that I am really missing in many community sites that let users share photos, and that would make this module the best community images module.

This module is rather a beta for the moment. It works after a lot of fooling around but there is no documentation and the settings menu is rather cryptic (slide show speed & cross fade duration has no explanation). Changing the order of the photos is very difficult

This is a great Photo Album.
1). Great admin and maintenance
2). Photo collections are in their own directory.
2). up-load groups in a zip file.
3). Thumbnails.

Really great product with some tiny rough spots, but very nice out of the box and easy to work with. On top of being a good product, the developer is responsive to help requests. In my experience, developer support elevates a good product to a great product.
Following up a couple weeks later: Have a few dozen galleries up. Looks great. Very happy.

I had a ruff start being I was back two revisions on DNN, so I was unable to install this application without errors, the developer did manage to post on the helps desk patches to fix the issues.
