Simple yet great little module to save lots of time!

The product didn't work for me. It was conflicting with an Active Directory module I was using. It was no fault of their product it was the an issue with the Active Directory module.
Their support seemed good. They tried to help resolve the problem but the other software wouldn't cooperate. So I don't fault them on the product itself. My only issue is that they wouldn't offer a refund.
They don't offer a trial version and they don't offer a refund if you run into a problem that can't be resolved.

Dont waste your money, At first didnt even work.. Second ended up not doing what I thought it would do. Still waiting on a refund response.... Spend the extra $$ and go with datasprings dynamic login and registration, you'll be happy you did.

NOT READY for Prime Time.. This module sounds promising, but after numerous failed installs i'm afraid i'm going to have to look elsewhere. SIGNIFICANT install problems, files installed to wrong directories, etc. Thus far tech support hasn't been very helpful.
I'm an advanced DNN User, even I can't solve this.

The installation issues were addressed immediately and a Snowcovered patch was sent out. The issues had to do with SQL 2005 generated scripts not working correctly in SQL 2000.

The ucanuse modules are some of the best around. great support. if you need a better way of registering users and providig a cleaner/simpler way of logging in to dnn then check these modules out!

At first I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do what I needed to with this module, but UCanUse support was really great to work with me. He help me figure out how to make it work for what I wanted to do. I needed to get a couple of their other modules to do what I wanted, but it worked. I would recommend reading through their online documentation thouroghly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the automatic role assignment didn't set the expiration date for roles set for trials. However he said this would be fixed in future releases.

What a great module! We originally needed the ability to create our own registration forms, but this then got complicated with additional client requests. A quick email to Richard and we were presented with a prompt, cost effective quote, followed by prompt development turnaround to complete our unique request (and save our butts). Thanks heaps for your help Rick, this is a great module which we're happy to recommend.

Thanks Reuben; I was happy to help!

I can not get Role-based redirection working on DNN 4.5.5. I submitted a support ticket on the vendor's website 2 business days ago and have not heard a response...

Jonathan, I did reply within minutes of getting your message; I responded very quickly and don't know why you didn't get the response. I may haev replied to the notice from snowcovered thinking it was your email. Please contact me directly at supoprt@UcanUse.com; You said you had it working locally right? And asked whether anything in a production. I answered that there is no difference unless session state is disabled on the server.

UCanUse is an incredible module. Works great and the support is fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant solution to a problem you don't even know you have until this module fixes it for you. The incessant logging in and out during 'normal' site development (between Admin & Host) is now just a bad memory, and more importantly, I can now test how a page looks for every single User Role almost instantly. What an unbelievable time and frustration saver... thanks for a great product!

Thank you very much!

I think its rediculous this sort of functionality is not included with the core DNN installation. As of 4.3 designers are severely restricted in what they can do with site registration, being unable to place a core registration form as a standard and fully featured module.
This product from UCanUse© is a very good option for someone wanting to customise the look and feel of the Registration forms. It could use some improvement in areas but i was able to customise the templates and fields for exactly what i needed and so im giving it 5 stars.

Thanks Jeff! We appreciate it!

This little module is a huge time saver on private development environments. Having the ability to switch the logged user roles with one-click without leaving your current page is outstanding. I have used it extensively to test role driven content and form creation.

Thanks again Jeff!

I needed a registration form that also included some mechanisms that would restrict access to pre-assigned users via a user ID & password. User Registration and Forms designer was ideal for creating this. I then used it to create more 'standard' entry forms. When I found I needed to contact UCanUse I found their response quick and their advice helpful - Thanks Richard!

Great support customizations that give you the power during the registration process.
Don't settle for the core dnn registration - get this module and leverage registration in your favor.

Had a few css issues initially, but Brian's support and technical knowledge was stellar, he responded to my emails immediately (which was great because we were up against the wall on our deliverable), and our new registration form looks awesome! Highly recommend doing business with UCanUse.

Great product and support. They are so good they implemented my suggestion weeks before I gave it to them. Rick was nice even after my RTFM type of support request.

UCanUse User Attribute is a very good module. One of our customers wanted some extra user information and based on the entered values, the users should be assigned to different roles.
With UCanUse User Attribute this was done within 30 minutes and we charged for one week work :- ).
Seriously: even if you are a programmer, there is no reason for inventing the wheel again. This module is worth every cent and by using it, you can spend your time customizing the registration process even more (or play the guitar or whatever...).
UCanUse also has an excellent forum where you receive tips and solutions from the developers (fast and accurate) and other users. There is also a Support Desk for more "trouble issues".
I do recommend UCanUse User Attribute!

Because we need to capture more registration information from our members than the DNN registration form asks for, I purchased and installed the UCanUse User Attributes module. Installation went smoothly and the learning curve on how to establish new attributes was short. The biggest problem I had was enabling the page containing the registration information. Rich at UCanUse promptly answered my question and bingo it worked. I'm not one of those with a lot of computer knowledge so the ease of installing and using this module is very important.

Very powerful once setup correctly. But it is a little hard to figure out the settings.

Just purchased the module but the download only has two text files and one PDF. No PA or source code or anything...
