The module installed properly, but the mixed security warning in EI was not properly addressed. I tried contacting their support to find a solution (just to get the module to do as advertised), but apparently there is no support. The response I got was "there is no fix", and they stopped returning my emails. Finally, I uninstalled it, and purchase a different module (SSL Redirect), which was up and running in 5 minutes.

This module is awesome. If you read the instructions installation is a snap. I installed it on DNN 4.4.1, IIS7 Vista (with self signing certificates) and production ready in 45 minutes.
The multiple parameters for SSL validation is an awesome feature, worked great for me. This has saved me so many hours I cannot even count.

had lots of problems with this module. Never received updates too. I also had problems getting my site indexed by google and other engines because of excessive redirects caused by this module.

If you did not, then you can download from patches & hotfixes section of snowcovered. Problem you are describing with the search engines is the first I've heard about it. When I discovered DNN and the Catalook store module unable to handle SSL properly, this module really saved the day. It's confusing to configure, that's why I can't give it a higher rating, but once it's set, you never have to touch it. It's been working for the last 3 months perfectly. Support was more than helpful.

I purchased this module even though I had not received a response from the author to a question I had raised. Luckly the module is great, works great and is as easy as 1,2,3. Would be a bit worried if I needed some support though.

This is a great module! Easy Setup and configurations for the default log-on and registration pages. Plus actually inserts the config settings and changes the css files to reflect https - you do nothing but a 1-2-3 step process.

Very good program... It can be a bit tricky, not the programmers fault, just the nature of SSL and all of that, but all in all it does exaclty what it is advertised to do, I could use better documentation and a DEMO site would be nice.

SSL is essential to all DNN sites, and this module makes it easy to add and easy to manage. And it's great that it does so without requiring changes to the core code. The only improvement I'd really like to see is a different way of transferring the request back to non-SSL, because the simple response.redirect raises a warning in the browser.
