This product does not work on DNN 6.x. I have written them three times to ask for help and did not hear back until the third try. On the third try for help (over 4 weeks) they replied that they will send me a patch in 24 hours. I am not holding my breath. The manual is next to useless and the module is extremely difficult to understand (5.x installation originally). I would not but this product at this time and wish I did not in the past. I am going to try something else.

Could not get the module to display locations. Contacted developer and was informed that a patch was availalble. Never recieved the patch. I ended up fixing a bug in thier javascript files and then the locations would display. If I changed the settigns of the module to use custom templates and removed the tags for the search controls then nothing will display. There are some serious programming issues in thier JavaScript so beware. I have given up on this module. For $90.00 it would be nice to get some decent documention and something that works with out needing to update the programmers mistakes. NOT GOOD!! Buyer beware.

Module didn't work out of the box, results page opens again within results section (site in site effect). After a week still haven't received response from the developers on this issue (used Snowcovered techhelp and contactform on their own website). Also poor bulk uploading features. Pity it turned out this way, it looked so promising... Planning on asking for refund.

Worse Support I have encountered of all the DNN modules I have had experience with. Since I purchased Netism Extreme 3.6.1 over two weeks, I have received no response for any of my request for support. Thiers is no techinical assistance from Netism... Since, I have struggled with this Module, I have found that this version 3.6.1 - as a different version of the template module, that previous releases have. Therefore some of the tokens which existed in the previous versions, that caused active responses to MouseOver & Out functions and a different sized popup are missing from this version. Besides I see many empty slots where Tokens could be. I believe that I have a release of 3.6.1 that was not suffificently test. Since Netism does not support thier product...could someone out thier send me an older version of the template like version 2.2. Thanks for any support. -- westdh@charter.net

Current issues include: - Poor documentation - Portions of module interface not working - Custom form fields do not behave as they should (per their own documentation) - Javascript / functionality not working on Google Maps (only on bing map) Put in support ticket on 6/2 to resolve issues, it's now 6/19 and issues have still not been resolved. Issues are related to support for basic module functionality. I am still waiting for action, and might change my rating if issues are finally resolved.

After install this appears to be a strange little module that doesn't do very much. HOWEVER, an hour or so of dedication to Templates and the Velocity syntax and there are simply no limits to what you can display. This module is definitely for power users with at least light programming experience, but if you fit that profile and need to re-use your site's data, feeds or are looking to display content from other site's RSS or external data source this module will allow you to create a solution and quickly go from prototype to professional looking output.

Module does not work as advertised at all. On the contrary, it has lots of issues and support takes month to reply if you're lucky. I've been trying to figure this module out for over a year and support still doesn't provide fixes and full documentation. Needless to say, this module cannot be used for production-level sites. This module is more of a beta program. The only way I can think you can use this module successfully is if you only need a simple map with a few icons, but then you're better off using google/bing maps directly.

There is great flexibility all around - from the initial collection of data to the ultimate display on the page, there is precise control every step of the way. This software is only partially functional and I was pretty much scammed into upgrading from the previous version thinking the "new features" would actually work. The product does not fully work as advertised as the custom search fields DON'T WORK. Support is non-existent. I have been trying to reach out to Netism Solutions for a month to no avail. They seem to not respond unless they can scam money out of you to "upgrade" at which time they respond quite quickly. Don't waste your time or money on this or any other Netism products. Very much dissatisfied and would like a full refund.

I have used an earlier version of this module and it worked great but having just purchased the latest version is disappointing to find that there is still a bug in it for DNN V6 onwards which prevents the map loading. This is easily sorted by modifying the NetMapExt.js file by commenting out the line window.Netism.OnLoad(); (do this by adding two // in front of this line). A good package to do this is Notepad . Once you have changed the file do Shift F5 to refresh the browser window and all should be fine. You will also need to modify the NetMapExtGoogle.js file as well to get access to google maps. This is a good app but it's disappointing that Netism haven't sorted this given that they have been aware of it since February 2012 and it is now November and for that reasons only 3 stars. K.

This is a great module - although we are only using it at a very basic level it does exactly what we need and a lot more besides! If you are looking for interactive mapping tools for your DNN website then definitely give this module a look-in. Most reassuring of all the tech support is quick and very very efficient - can't recommend this module highly enough.

Absoluetly priceless module and the only mapping module you will ever need. It catered for all scenarios and with some custom tweaking you can create just about anything. Support has been some of the best we have ever had not only through snowcovered providers but in the industry as a whole. Tin has helped us create and modify the exact model we were looking for and we will look no further for future developments.

An excellent mapping module. Easy to install and feature-rich. We'd ask that the location auto-complete can be restricted to a region (e.g. type in 'Manchest' and it only comes up with the Manchester options for your country, not the whole world) and better bulk importing. However, both of these are minor, hence the 5-star rating.

Excellent module....horrible support. It's been over a week since I reported an issue with many of the one click direction links not working and asked the developer to take a look. Nothing...not a word. Now I know what the developer is going to say....this isn't my problem, it's Bing's problem. I'm fine with that if that's the truth but at least give me the courtesy of looking at this issue and at least communicating with me on this. Disappointed with the support but it's still a great module. Better support would equal 5 stars without a doubt.

This is the best module I have ever purchased! Previously I uses Iframes and separate .asp files to accomplish certain tasks within the website. But with this module you can make your own module without knowledge of the DNN structure or DotNet programming skills!

If you do not like to create your own module but you need to display data from external datasources, this is the module to use. After a slow start, I ran into some bugs. But the support was excellent and they fixed the problems and also added new features I needed very quickly. The examples and documentation can be better, but you can always contact support and they will help you asap.

This is THE DNN mapping module, the use of dynamic multiple sql queries which can be called via url parameter together with the very flexible templates make this a must have module if you want to display your geographic data. Perfect for business/club/property listings. You can config a Map Extreme module to load a birdseye view on module load - no buttons for user to click - your location just shows up in birdseye view - very cool. The other major benefit is that it connects to data from Xmod, Dynamic Forms, etc. so you can combine modules to build a very cool app in DNN. Version 2.0 of Map Extreme should be even better with regards to integration with other modules.

This is a great module. It works very well and does everything as advertised. It is very simply to get it up and running. There is a slight problem with the HTML editor for the location details but it's easy to work around. I recommend this module to anyone needing a good mapping tool.

This is not a module to view analytics in DNN, it's just a module you place on each page you want tracked. The same can be done, easily, with the HTML module. Displaying the analytic reports in the product's image is misleading.

Many module developers just don't understand how to make the most of DotNetNuke. I am honoured to let you know that Netsim gets it. Map Extreme goes above and beyound my expectations. If you just want a simple map, you just install it. If you need something more customized, Map Extreme makes it easy to get get the job done. I needed to dynamically plot properties from Property Agent and to do this I had to pull data from many different DNN tables. Tin Lam helped me write my complicated SQL and even followed up to see if it worked. This is by far the best DNN map module I have tried and you don't need an API key to make it work.

This product works as advertised and product support has been excellent. Upon purchasing this module I had it up and running in a matter of minutes. The only reason for rating it four stars instead of five is that we are currently working through a proxy configuration issue, although this in no way reflects the quality of the module or the support that has been received so far. I would (and will) give the module a five once we work through it. 1/15/09. As promised I have moved my review, the proxy issue that I was experiencing is resolved and my Intranet site is running this module flawlessly.
