While initially this seems like a great module, the registration/payment functionality is cumbersome and inflexible. Request for custom modifications are paid for but never received. Good product if you are just doing events, but if you need registration you will have to buy the source to make it work correctly. Support after the sale is horrific. DNN should investigate whether this vendor should still be authorized to sell on this website.

I would say it is a nice module but their FAQ doesn't really elaborate on how to activate... It would tell you that it is very easy and it would show you a screen shot where you don't even know what is that screen shot specifically, how do I get there? I can't see it in my DNN version. If I could put zero star then I would. right now, I won't... just to be fair. I put 3 instead... until they will change their FAQ page to be more helpful. Our current module expired then I bought a new license that comes with a new version to download. I installed/upgraded the module successfully then I need to activate. Activation page doesn't work.. (manual activation) went to support for help about activation. Then I don't have any reply after 24hrs after giving them all the information they need to help me. I gave them activation code, ip address and the whole 9 yards... How could we use our module if it can't be activated? I have to replace every module with HTML Pro... worst thing, we already have plenty of instance of Content Manager scattered in our website. Overall, I won't be in this situation if only they spend more time to write a better instructions found in there FAQ page.

This product works well. We purchased this module a couple years ago and have had a few issues where the license would go away and would have to be reissued. It turns out that this module is licensed by domain and IP address. If your sites IP changes while you still have support, they will provide a new license at not cost. However, if your support expires, it will be required that you purchase support for them to get you a new license. I wasn't happy about this and suggested that they put a system in place to allow users to change the IP associated with a domain and installation. This way you can get a new license activated automatically if the IP on your site changes. I was told that they were thinking about this and may provide this solution in the future.

Very disappointed with this module. The calendar satellite module is very buggy. It also looks like they are putting too much effort into Flash development, which seems like a waste of time in this day and age.

Calendar works well, though sometimes if you put too much HTML in your event it won't show any formatting until your in a detailed view—meaning the preview text all runs together and with no links. I was very disappointed with their answer when I had to move the server my site was hosted on recently. Our license wouldn't work and they said they would not move it! I have never had this issue with any other developer. It is my feeling that we paid for the license so we should be able to move it if we need to—at least once! But again, none of our other 3rd party modules gave us an issue, only Invenmanager's. If I could find another event calendar that can do everything this one can I would change, but for now this is the best fit for our needs. If another one comes along by a different company, I'm buying. Hi, Spencer, 1. You did not report the first problem before. It is very easy to fix it, just change the [DESCRIPTION] to [FULLDESCRIPTION] in your list view template. This is becacuse by default the list view only shows a snippet of the full event description as configured at the View Options. But you can change it as you wish. 2. We do support moving servers when it is in 1 year free support period. As your license is more than 1 year old and refuse to upgrade but expect perpetual free support. 3. Your standard edition license is good for one DNN Install ONLY. You can have unlimited portals on same DNN Install, but once you moved to a different server, it is considered a different DNN install because the different IP address. The license do not allow that otherwise you can copy to anywhere the license will work. 4. The license once is activated, it works forever, it never deactivates by itself. We are not forcing you to upgrade or extend the warranty. You need help only when you move the license to another server or so. Once again, if your license is within our support period, we will help you to reactivate, but once your 1 year free support period is over, you need to upgrade the license or extend the maintenance at Invenmangar.com.

This is a pretty good drop-in replacement for the built-in DNN Events module. The registration is good for simple meetings, but I bought it for the flexible display modules -- especially the ability to put a view to upcoming events on my home page and link them back to the calendar page. I also like that you can link a view to more than one calendar.

WOW. Very powerful Event Calendar. I had tried another brand was was so disappointed with the output. THIS software package was easy to use "out of the box" and I know I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do. It allowed our site to have online registration in a very short amount of time. I'd highly recommend it to others.

Has issues with IE8 (Event link tool-tips don't work. Technical Support is very vague on answers regarding adjustments to CSS Styles (pretty much, figure it out for yourself). Modifying an event (i.e. adding a description) causes it to disappear from the "My Events". Is this product beta? If you offer a product riddled with bugs, you shouldn't be charging people!! Fix it or refund my money!!

Very nice solution! I'm using this to let club members sign up for lessons and to keep them informed about upcoming events. Does all of that brilliantly. Would love to see a little more flexibility in their report generation without having to pull the information down to an excel spreadsheet and edit.

We have been using this module for over a year now. The module itself is great and helps us display various versions of content without a hitch. We have recently migrated to a webfarm style architecture and have found issues with the licenses. gary from invenManager took time to remotely assit myself personnaly via GoMeeting. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew to fix the problem. The great product and uncomparable client service has made this one of the best experiances we have had. I have been using this module, the work flow is simple and logical, and the support is great! Another feature I like to comment on, the insertion of the article title in the browser title, this will boost your SEO. Now I have it for less than one month and in many articles it has ranked amongst the top ten in Google search (it usually take 3 month to have your site fully SE optimised).

I have not regreted this purchase. The calendar features are terrific as well as the design. I especially like the ability to add attachments to events. Also, the import and export features have come in very handy. Support has also been great. The only feature I would like to see added is the ability to prevent conflicting events.

This is a fantastic module. It installed cleanly and worked exactly as advertised. The satellite calendar is a fabulous way to showcase upcoming events. We love the fact that the templates for each of the views are configurable from within the module. We're using this with both PayPal and Authorize.net to process event registration payments and the setup literally took minutes. The developer is extremely responsive and helpful. We've been using Invenmanager's Content Manager solution for several years, and I'm happy to say that the Event Calendar and Registration 3.0 module is another great example of Invenmanager's consistently high quality development and support. Great module. I do not like that you have to be emailed the key and do not get actual live software to download and use once you complete purchase. It took me over 24 hours to get my key and begin using it in live mode. Something happened and original email was never received. This should be disclosed upfront.

I've used this module for event related stuff on a few sites since 2.1, recently I created a project that needed serious event/calendar publishing. I ended up heavily configuring the templates and using all the modules provided. We even upgraded from 2.5 to 3.0 just before going live! Everything was a smashing success. Besides the well done, well organized modules, I have to add that the InvenManager’s support is beyond first rate. All response times were excellent. Tough issues were handled quickly and directly (no avoidance and delays like I have experienced with other vendors). Feature requests and suggestions were treated with great respect and interest – some of them made it in to the 3.0 release even! I also have to add that the PIE (post install experience) is excellent [grin, can I get coinage credit for that?]. This is one of the few modules where you can drop it on the page, configure very few things, add a few entries – and the module looks and demos fantastic!

Friendly, timely, and the module is the ONLY one out there I know that can do the job of content management and versioning WITH a way to reject content. I was searching for a good content manager for DNN for a long time. Running a large site for a company with diverse operations and 50 staff editing that site would be a nightmare without the proper editing and workflow controls in place. Content Manager by Invenmanager is the ONLY one that I found that did everything I needed it to, did it well, and was an excellent all-round solution. Highly recommended!

Had a little difficulty figuring out support but once I found Gary's email he has been a big help. Would also like to see more of a users guide. The examples are helpful but a regular online manual would be good. Lots of great features. Have been told the deafult image will not display on an event in a future release which is good.

Content Manager is a very good workflow approval and publish module , simple to use it. One great feature is that really works! It is possible to create any kind of different 4, 3, 2 or 1 level workflow schemas and to set different roles to it . It is also listed in the “DotNetNuke for Dummies” book as one of “10 Commercial Modules worth a Look”

seems to work well and look good. i could give a five but the English is awkward and not configurable (That I can find) on the "add to favorite" link and "make this my home page"... so I had to leave off those two options. The ability to modify the link text, and formatting would make this a five in book. Solid as a means to refer people to your site and launch a print window.
