When we initially looked at this product, I read about how good the support is. That 100% describes my experience so far. We did encounter a few problems along the way, due to our set up (we were trying to go from an installation where the AD provider was not working to this module). I have to say, support went above and beyond to help us get this working. Great job and great product. Thanks again for all your help!

I got this up and running in minutes and it worked flawlessly the first time. I purchased the full version and EAD's support was so prompt in walking me through the upgrade process (from trial to full version). They are a great company and they've got a great product!

This had to be the easiest AD implementation setup I've ever seen. Unlike the DNN AD provider, the webserver does NOT have to be a member of the domain to have AD participation.
Great Module, Great Support... this was just added to my short list of great snowcovered modules.

I initially found the autologin module very difficult to get working in my environment. The instructions are very basic and there is nothing that really explains how the Autologin module authenticates or works which makes it extremely difficult to work out how to configure site security when the recommended settings dont work
I also found that the modules doesnt appear to make much use of the event log in DNN which would be nice to find out and troubleshoot issues as well (eg cannot bind to LDAP path etc).
Eventually after a bunch of correspondence with the developer and a LOT of trial and error I finally have it working.
I also discovered some bugs in the module with the group selection system and LDAP group limitations during the process.
I have to say that once working this module works very well and I am happy with it despite the initial frustration.
I also have to say that I was very impressed with the customer service and response from the developer who tried to a

Overall I think this is a good module for the price. I did notice that version 6 has been released and is now $189. I do not see any other features listed in the description.
There is some help listed on the settings page but I think there are a few things missing. More detail on the connection string would be helpful. I used the one recommended by CodeFreak in an email but it did not work for me. I added the provider to the end.
I used it both SQL and stored procedures.
If the roles did not exist in DNN it added them and added the users to them. It adds the verbiage - EasyLogin Database Role - to the description of each role.
I did discover a bit of an issue with removing roles. After a few unsuccessful suggestions from CodeFreak I peeked at the code. It will only remove roles if the description says - EasyLogin Database Role. No unique descriptions for your roles. Any roles that existed before EasyLogin will also need to be changed for them to be removed.

works great. I wish it incorporated the custom profile capabilities but as far as authenticating users against an AD, that was very easy and it does it well.

I've been using this module for a while now and it has worked great for us. I never have to deal with user accounts in DNN because they're all synched flawlessly with AD. When I did have an question recently, the customer support was outstanding. I couldn't be more pleased.

Awesome product and great support. Author is very responsive to support requests.

Help is non existent and the "Support" just restates my question. There is absolutely no documentation with it except for a few lines of text on the main configuration.
I wasn't able to get this working and was not worth the money at all.
I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

Hi Julie,
I responded to your help desk ticket? you have 30 days for a refund if you do not like the module. There is documentation, It's in the module, it steps you through the process. If you would like you can give me your contact number and I can help you install it.

Top notch module! Excellent support, outstanding all around.

I didn't see any reviews for this thing anywhere on Google and the ones on Snowcoverd looked fake to me because all of this guys stuff had the same comments. The good news is that this (ADA Ultimate 4.9.0) actually works. You really have to know the full LDAP path including Server, OUs etc... I didn't have a problem with the built in AD (1.04) provider, but I could never get the auto login to work in SQL 2008/IIS7 - DNN 4.9. I was hoping the autologin came with this package, but it looks like I get to spend another $190 for that.

Hi Skip,
thanks, you can also in the ldap path go just to the root level and get all the OU's like LDAP://ADServerIP/DC=mydomain,DC=net. if you need anything you can just put in a help desk ticket and I'll walk you through it. thanks, also the ldap path is for multidomains and external domains.

Easy setup, works as described, fast / knowledgeable support. What else could you ask for!

Easy to setup, and works great. It would be nice if the module had a setting to just allow the user to enter their current password and enter a new password w/o requiring questions to be answered. Minor issue, as module works great the way it is.

This module must be one of the most underated (or rather unrated) login-modules.
In less than an hour all my 4.000 Visma CRM-customer-account had full acces to our new website with correct roles etc.

How could a company advertise their products creating a $0.00 advertisement?
I believe that´s not a way of proceeding and, at least, they lost a customer in me.
UPDATE:
The point here is that this entry IS NOT a software package but and advertisement. I don´t care if it´s clearly stated at the beginning of the product description, it´s still not a software and therefore shouldn´t be there.
BTW, the fact that the product is not listed anymore by SnowCovered tells me they thing the same.
UPDATE 2:
Was it a product on itself? NOT
Was is a way to catch attention from customers by being listed in the website Newsletter? YES
Is the company trying to accept the critic elegantly? NO
There was no product to try on itself and therefore a complain was to be established.
If Snowcovered didn´t remove the product entry then it implies that whether the company understood they approach was wrong or just didn´t want to deal with a negative reference. I wonde

Hi Jean,
on the product page it states in bold letters that its not a product but a description of several of the listed products. do you have any questions about which authentication module you might need?
UPDATE:
I took off the product not snowcovered.com. Before you review a product that you never used, try it! All my customers love their product. Your only looking for a handout.

Super Easy to get up and running, great support when you run into any problems. It has made setting up an intranet setting up an intranet super easy.

This module is a must have for any corporate entity running DNN. It is easy to setup and user login is fast and seemless. Works for both internal and external users authenticating to AD. Stop dealing with the issues of the built in DNN ADSI provider.

Module is clumsey at best. It requires the user to know path names from web server which may not obivous to many users who maintain DNN portals. The edit mode uses what appears to be an old Contacts module and it does not have a way to exit, short of navigating off to another page on the site and then coming back. Module has potential, but falls well short of being a usable module for most users. I guess AS IS means AS IS. Don't waste your money on this one.

DEVELOPER ALERT - You MUST get this. Unbelievable. All your controls are immediately available to DNN. This module is worth it's weight in gold!

With several seperate (and unsuccessful) attempts at creating my own custom modules, this is EXACTLY the mod I was looking for. I can write my own user controls, but DNN custom module creation has absolutely frustrated me to this point. I might just leave the custom modules to you guys - I'm sure you appreciate my business/ignorance. I really liked this module. It was a very simple way to drop my own controls into DNN. Thanks.

Don't waste your money.. This module doesn't work as described by author. I asked for help and the help ticket just started an endeless loop.
Now there is a new version, I was specting a free upgrade. What a dumb I am.

Doesn't work very well.
I tried importing 500 UserName, FirstName, LastName and Passwords and it randomly added 221 of 500.
I tried importing 100 (Same as above) and it randomly added 98 of 100.
Not impressed.

Fantastic Module - Does exaclty what is says on the tin. Just drop this module onto your page - create a folder called UserControls in your DNN folder - create an ascx control and then enter the name of that control in the box provided.
You've now got your own programming working immediately but with all the benefits of the skinning and rolebased permissions from DNN.
Great.
