I purchased Flex 2 and EasyMod from Dr. Nuke 2 years ago. This software is fantastic! I was brand new to DotNetNuke at the time and knew very little about skins and CSS. Thanks to this software, I was able to get the exact look that I wanted for my website. As good as the software is, the support from James is even better. He helped me two years ago when I had a few installation questions. Then about a week ago I upgraded my site from DNN 5.6.1 to 5.6.3. After the upgrade I encountered a bug in DNN (not Flex2 or EasyMod). James worked with me over the course of a day to develop a work-around that solved the DNN problem. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, despite the fact that I purchased his product two years ago. I would give this 6 stars if I could.

I used this skin package to redesign our community website and everyone has been very impressed! I've done alot of DNN sites over the years, and worked with alot of pretty good skins. This one is by far and away the easiest deployments I have done. Usually over the course of a building a site a problem will come up here or there with the skin - not one with this. Everything as worked expected, the easymod worked perfectly, containers are flexible, and menus are good. I highly recommend this skin. I did not need support, but I have contacted them in the past regarding other skins and they are the best around, I assume that hasn't changed.

This skin has been super easy to use and I LOVE the easy mod module that comes with it! No longer do I have to alter any css files or others to get the skin to be the exact color I want it to be or ease of changing backgrounds, fonts and header styles. Although the easymod module doesn't work right away (you need to get an activation key from them), both times I've bought the skin and requested the key they have been prompt in responding.

WOW! I have been working with DNN since version 1.0 (DNN XXL actually) and have bought hundreds of modules from Snowcovered. I have never experienced support like I got from Dr. Nuke. We had a rather arcane problem with a single install of IE8. This wasn't occurring on any other machine or test environment. I actually told James not to worry about it, but he kept with it and fixed the problem. I was truly blown away. If every module vendor had support like this there would be no other CMS platforms on the market, DNN would be the only one standing.

This is an extremly creative skin/module with a very practical purpose - to offer the flexibilty to tweak a set of well laid out set of skins to your preference. I have not encountered any bugs, unusual behavior, etc. - which is rather remarkable given what this skin-module (skodule) can do. The only aspect of this skodule I was not unclear about was how to create or modify flash headers - but have to admit I do not know flash. It is fun to use and as advertised, it is flexible, and can easily recommend this with the highest of praise!

Wow! This is incredibly cool! There are two issues that I encountered (and informed the developer of). I'm including those in my review to assist others who may be struggling with this as well. 1. The DNN 5 skin package (and possibly container package) does not install correctly if you install it at the portal level. The DNN4 packages WILL work. 2. If you are using IE6, only the H-Bar-LGrad, V-Panel, and V-Round-Stripe skins work fully. Most of the other skins will cause IE6 to freeze up when you log in on a page using one of the other Flex2 skins. However, even with just these 3 skins, it's still a great purchase. James, one of (or THE) developers, was very quick to response to my help desk ticket and I provided him with as much information as I could to resolve this. Even if you are happy with your current skin, BUY THIS PRODUCT! If nothing else, the pane layout options used are very insightful (I wonder why I never thought of the layouts he used).

Flex2 is the most flexible skin I have ever seen for DotNetNuke. Flex2 is as innovative to website designing as Google was for searching the web. Flex2 is a MUST have for all DotNetNuke users. Flex2 represents a great step forward in DNN skinning technology. I've found Dr. Nuke's product quality and support to be outstanding. For those considering purchasing this module, I rated it 4 stars due to bugs in the first release, and what I believe to be a less than optimal implementation container styling with EasyMod. Note, I still highly recommend Flex2 but wanted to disclose some of the minor issues I had working with the skin.

This is one of the most cutting-edge skins I have used. By simply editing the CSS in the host settings I have more control over the look/feel of my site, without having to know "techie" skinning techniques. I emailed Dr Nuke a couple of times for unusual things like, "how do I suppress the Search box in the top right corner." They replied within 24 hours, and once within 1 hour, with easy to follow instructions. Very pleased.

We purchased this skin for the Active Modules demo site. We wanted something clean and lightweight. I have to agree, this is best built skin I have seen yet! They have accounted for every aspect of DotNetNuke. The cleanest implementation of the DotNetNuke menu. My only suggestion would be to add thumbnails so of the skins and containers so that you can have a preview from the DotNetNuke Skin page. Fantastic work!

We've been looking at Flex for quite a while and are very happy to own it! It's probably the best all-purpose skin we've every seen on SC. Simply beautiful in form and function. However -- a couple of points keep it from getting to 5 stars. First is that the skins and containers are not organized or named very well (they use names like V1, V2 etc), so when selecting skins and/or containers from within DNN admin, it's impossible to know what you are selecting. This combined with the lack of any preview images reduce the user friendliness, from the admin side, of the package. Also for some reason the developers created a separate skin for each banner, which makes the list of skins very, very long. We will need to spend a half day reorganizing these files before we can get to work! I would love to see these items addressed in a patch release. If they were we'd give this skin 8 stars!

I have purchased several skins from Snowcovered in the past year for customer’s websites that I build. This is by far one of the best that I have come across. It works well, is nice looking, has good container variation and best of all has a great organization behind it. I had a question about the flash banner and James got back to me right away with an answer. Now the answer was that the skin currently didn’t do what I was looking for, but they would look into changing it in the future. Ok, we have all heard that line before, but this time, about a week later a new update to the skin came out, and low and behold the change that I was looking for was in there! This skin is great and the support is even better! There are so many different configs that one can make a ton of different looking sites out of one skin pack. I highly recommend the package. The documentation is excellent, especially compared to other similarly priced skins. Some don't provide any doco at all. As previously mentioned, the support is excellent too. My first inquiry was answered within 8 hours and subsequent conversations occurred via email in almost real time. You can't beat that! There's a reason this skin has become the new #1 seller on snowcovered.

Very satisfied over my first bought skin from DrNuke (Advantage Skin) I descided to buy even this Skin. This whole skinpackage is well created and very professionally done. The skin itself gives a lot of options as it is, and with the package comes the PSD files that lets me customize it even more (if I want to) In the package is a great documentation that describes how to create custom banners with the PSD files. Initially before I bought the skin i I had some questions, and I got very fast answers from DrNuke. Also afterwards I had an small issue, and the reply I got was even faster and very helpful. Excellent support, it couldn´t be better!

This was my first, bot propably not last, Skin that I bougtht from DrNuke. The skin is very clean and nice. What makes this Skinpackage special compared to many others, is the documentation and the attached PSD files that helps me to create my own custom banners very easily. It is very good described how to do this in the documentation, even for a non-expert of Photoshop as I am.
