Even though this skin did not perform as advertised I would have given a higher rating for this Seller, but when I identified the problems to them they wanted to charge more money to fix the skin to work as advertised. When I asked them for a refund they started blocking my emails. As such in my opinion I would advise to be very very very careful before ordering anything from this seller. I will gladly change these comments if the blocked emails were in error and a solution can be resolved.

Just bought this skin and I totally misunderstood the function of the color picker. The color picker that slides along the left edge of the screen is for your site visitors to adjust the color of the skin for *their* use. This is not a development tool to let you find just the right color for your skin, save it, and use it as part of your theme. So basically, your visitors decide what colors your site uses and everyone sees something different. The skin works fine but I thought I could use the picker to adjust the colors as a developer and then "save" that color scheme such that everyone would see the same thing (like other "lab" skins). I can't imagine why I would want to let my visitors muck with the colors but maybe that's just me. The developer apologized for the misunderstanding and said that the description stated it was "client side" but I don't see it. He pointed me to how to remove the color picker which involves editing the skin files. Not hard but for the cost of thi

This skin is mostly good - there were a few issues with it working properly in DNN 5 which was quickly resolved by the creator. It loses one star for not having an easily editable flash banner and one for the cost (which would be acceptable if it did include an easily editable flash banner). The one major issue is the flash banner. It is just an Flash file which you edit yourself in Adobe Flash (assuming you have Adobe Flash). There are no nice background images, just people on a green field (which, again, you would have to change in Adobe Flash). It is not reliant on an xml file or a folder path - you actually MUST edit the .fla file and save as an .swf! This is not what I would expect from a flash banner included with a DNN skin! Especially at this price! Our client will now have to purchase a content rotator - we are recommending DNNSpot's jquery slideshow module. It is a shame this was so poorly executed. It seems like they just threw it in since other skins offer Flash, n

A very flexible and wonderfully designed skin for DNN. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because there were a few very minor issues which seem to be fixed in version 2.0! We purchased V1.5 and are given V2.0 for free! Fantastic support! I had some issues with V1.5 and the front page slide show and I contacted support. This skin claims to be xhtml and css compliant but fails validation for both. I corrected the css myself but the xhtml doesn't validate because of a poorly structured block of Javascript injected into the page by the skin. I sent 2 emails to the developers support email address to find out how to adjust the skin to make it compliant but never received a reply. We have since identified that there was a problem receiving email from the developer and have worked with them using updated skin components and now have our site validating for Xhtml and Css

Skin is very nice, but underdeveloped. The submenu on the left is very nice, but it works only on 1st level, once you click menu item and navigate to the page, the menu on left is all gone and the only navigation you left with is a bread crumb. You will not see the submenus neither from the top nor from the side. User will know where he is , but will have no idea what are other options. Support is very good, and they fixed some issues very fast. I hope they keep working on this skin to make UX experience better, because the skin is essentially very good.

This is a sharp, professional looking skin... we used it during a redesign for a hospital website... the client was extremely pleased... the menu/submenus are extremely quick and responsive... the css and images were easy to customize and the few items which we couldn't customize ourselves, the designers provided immediate assistance free of charge... excellent value, highly recommended...

I cant say I am professional at DNN, but I started with this skin pack and have been very happy with the results. I have not used other skins so I cant make a reference, but defintely happy with it. More importantly, I am very happy with the customer support. Jerry seems to always reply with speed no matter when I email him and when I've had to pay for a modification in code or to set it up on GoDaddy for me, the prices were extremely reasonable. -Gabe W.

This skin is presents very professionally, I find it versatile in the sense that it has plenty of frame choices to play with and it's menu system is highly polished. It also worked perfectly with an odd-ball array of modules I've been using so I'm happy with it's compatibility as well. Lastly, it's working nicely with most browsers. I'd endorse it.

I can only give 3 stars until the annoyances are addressed. 1). The thumbnails icons for some of the skins are reversed. hm1 and hm2, maybe others but i know for sure these two are. 2). After changing skin theme I have to log on as host and restart the application for the skin to show correctly. I don't have to do this with other skins only this one - and i have a lot of skins. 3). In the boxed themes - the border has gaps either at the upper right corner or bottom left when the skin expands to hold content, this is sloppy work. Overall the skin is nice - but given the fact gaps are in the boxed theme border, thumbnail images don't match, and changing skin themes requires a application restart.

I am very impressed with the Skin pack. I've tested them on screens from palmtop to large lcd, on MSIE, Firefox and Opera. (I don't recommend Opera for DNN Admins work). The Skin Pack options are not just design-time options. They are end-user browser-selectable options. (There's a neat floating toolbar for the user to use.). There are 4 themes, and for each one there is one of 3 layout widths, and one of 3 text size options. Once they download first time, the themes are quick to switch. PLUS: It is the only skin I have found that validates on W3C. If you are supplying a portal website to any publicly funded body, they'll insist on every page validating to CSS and XHTML. If you build a DNN Portal with other skins, you'll get hundreds of W3C validation failures. dnnskin.net's skins have one drawback... No hiding place for non compliant content! The onus is now on the developer to write fully compliant validated content in html! The skin won't be the source of the errors.
