I started a ticket on Nov 15th and after 6 times I resend the ticket asking for some help, I still do not have an answer.
Worst thing you can do is not reply back. Customer attention sucks, I payed the 189.00 usd for this skin and I can not get an answer on my request.
I will keep posting bad comments until I get an answer.

I wanted a simple slider. The settings do not allow you to hide the banner and text that covers most of the image. It's ugly.

Terrible support. We've tried to contact the seller to help us install correctly. They've repeatedly ignored us, we've even paid more to have them help us. We are extremely frustrated and simply want a refund at this point. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

This skin was missing several styling elements. The skin didn't include a menu, The containers styled inconsistently between browsers, the grey container featured in the sample screenshot didn't style as shown, and the skin had numerous styling inconsistencies between browsers. It took a good deal of work on my part to finally complete this skin.

All the things are perfectly allright in this skin. The menu in this skin is a 3rd party which comes with it which you have to install on your portal. And all the containers are also showing fine results in all browsers. In short there is no any problem in our skin. You should install all the elements and the see the skin.

We have purchased over 85 modules and suites since 2008. and many more in the name of clients. This is the first negative review.
Purchased the module based on my belief the suite could be used as a module, to add second level dnn menu's as implied by their advertisement. See the settings examples. Menu level has up to three levels and a select page. Upon installation could not get it to work. took 8 messages and three days to get this:
"this module can not work with default dnn menu it can only use to replace your default menu with our dnn menu suite"
Pointed out that this is information was not in the description in any way. Explained we did not want a module to replace our Morpheus skin menus, we needed a second level menu, so asked for a refund. there reply:
"there is no issue with our product" and "you can use FAQ related to it".
Their is FAQ links in their advertisement nor their demo site. And the product is represented as a MODULE, not a Replacement. Fo

Well customer didn't read the menu profile carefully neither he used to use FAQ before purchasing the product. It clearly display in diagram to replace the current menu with it.. Its a Jquery module and obviously a Jquery can not be used as a 3rd party menu. So there was no point for asking refund as there is no such issue with the menu its customer own wish what they need and how to use the module.
if there is rating less than 1 I would use it.
This module does not work. No support, I cannot get him to respond to my ticket. I tried it with 4 different skins and it did not work. some person respond to my ticket and said I need to contact my skin seller. be very careful DO NOT buy from this seller.

We fixed the skin which has many issues but the customer is non technical and doesn't read the module requirement before purchasing it.. This is the most selling product and have no issue with it..for further detail review customer site http://maschicago.org . The customer is using this module in this site successfully .
I am really happy with this module. It creates nice looking clean CSS list based menus. It is easy to modify a theme to suite your own site. They look good and google can read them easily.

I use another module (EasyDNNGALERY) and the two are not compatible; JS Issues.
Slow response makes this module not an acceptable DNN Module because I have no idea if the developer will ever support a change..

My DNN website is 5.x and is using jquery 1.4.2. I have a another module which is using 1.4.2 also. That other module works so long as I do not put this DNN_Menu_Suite menu on the same page. I've submitted a ticket on the DNNcovered.com website but 24hrs later not gotten any response. The support for the module seems a bit lacking. There may be some generic fix for this situation but I don't know it yet. Probably not the first time folks have run into it but I would have expected a more timely response from them.

Really like this skin and the work. Easy to use, works well and we like the menu. (We are DNN Experts, and really like skins that are Quality... lots are not up to this standard) Well done!

The menus are great and easy to use and change. But it is disappointing to not be able to properly use the menus on a touch device like an iPAD. Since there is no mouse over on the menu there is no way to get to the pull down menus :-(
I guess I should be more clear - the menu that I selected (style 12) did not work. Changing to a different menu (style 1) works better. Perhaps better documentation :-)

Works well as a slider - seems to work the same as sliders that are included in some skins. It is useful and easy to set up.

Beware! This developer is a Scam and Fraud! This package is advertised as "Galleries" and a Theme. Advertising a product as "flash galleries" in DNN development is module level control. These flash galleries are modified on the Container level. Seriously. In order to modify the galleries you have to modify the container. This REQUIRES ftp, host level access, coding knowledge, and graphic manipulation to even try to use this package.
This developer refused to refund the cost of this package because "there is no demonstrated error". The error is the lack of information regarding this product! Had I known of the security level modification requirement I wouldn't have bought it.
Here's the kick in the gonads. I've been developing DNN sites/code since DNN2 and purchasing modules/skins including source packages. I have only asked for 1 refund and that was multiple years ago. I called, explained the issue and it was remedied promptly.

I paid 89$ for unlimited download. After downloading 86 skins my access was blocked.
I wrote around 5 e-mail messages to tech support. Received 3 answers - "Reset. Please try again". But nothing was changed.

Not a good skin for me. First, the banner never goes away, in the case you don't want it. It's also large and obnoxious, in my opinion. Second, there is a floating color toolbar that I can't hide. I don't want people playing with my site colors. Not sure what the designer was thinking. For the money, I would expect the vendor to be more accommodating, but it's pretty much sold as it, so buyers out there evaluate carefully. It wasn't a good choice for me, so I'm back to the store for another. I can't recommend this skin.

Very slick looking skin, makes our site pop. The 3d galleries were too complicated for me. A very plain, flexible skin that can be used for many purposes, however it took me some time to find all components that was included and how it was working. But finally it was well spent time. To my opinion this skin can be used for more or less any kind of presentation.

nice & beautiful and also full featured skin in first view, but fully TABULAR (structured with tables instead of DIVs) skin. also very huge skin for low internet connection users. because of tables many large graphical elements. i really wanted to use it for RTL customer website but because of poor css structure i spend couple of hours to change it. finally i think its not worth as its price!

This skin has been used bymany of our customers so far and majority is satisfied with the tabular structure and the heavy graphics of this skin pack.
This skin pack is primarily structured in tabular format and we did not even mention any where that this skin pack is designed on DIV format. Tabular structure is the part of its design. Internet connection is not a big issue as it can be improved by getting a better service provider. This issue is not about the skin pack it is a resource issue from end user.
Excellent skin, it makes my site looks very attractive.
However, there is a minor bug with ddaccordion.init in portal.ascx (related .js missing?).
It works fine if this script removed.

Menu is broken (item pictures are not shown properly and menu items are too close to each other). There's also an error that says ddaccordion is undefined. It is really hard to get a meaningful response from support (doesn't answer questions and doesn't read emails carefully) leaving this skin useless for production. Tried this skin on a brand new dnn portal and still showed these problems.
UPDATE: Fix for DNN 5.2.3 doesn't work either, support likes dancing around and wants even for money for negligence. They say they need host access to ftp some files. They won't send the files to fix this. They don't have a fix as they were told from the beginning this was a DNN 5.2.3 install. Now they want a video of how I uploaded the skin? They keep lying hoping customers don't understand and believe them. This is ridiculous! UPDATE: These guys are trying to trick customers by removing the item listing and relisting it again to hide the reviews. 0 stars for this dishonest company!

I liked this skin, and it's in 7 colour. Good to the price, so I bought it!
Later I found out of, that it didn't support multi language, and the answer was: No, it's an old skin!
Later again I wanted to install on dnn5.x, but couldn't!
The answer was: No, but if you pay 30$ - yes! -the skin price was 28$-...
3 other developer send me immediately new files on request without charging!!
Conclusion: If you pay, you can get support from dnncovered!
I am NOT customer here anymore!

I purhased this skin with the flash header module. The skin didn't load on my clean install of DNN 5.1.4. Fortunately I am a technical person and managed to get the skins and containers loaded seperately. Since then I have had skins and containers crash on me bc they require other modules that weren't supplied or coding errors.
Most annoying and misleading is the flash header module. The advertising for this module shows attractive banner images with very nice messeges apparently overlaid on the images. After purchasing it (no instructions supplied) I discovered that the attractive text was actually part of the image and not dynamically created rendering the images useless to me. And then the text that is actually generated dynamically is some huge ugly cumbersome font slapped in the middle of the image. Not only does it look ridiculous and unprofessional it's so big you can only fit about 15 characters across the banner.
The advertising for this module is clearly misleading and

It certainly not Scottish...it's crap. But, you get what you pay for...it was a free skin, so I wasn't expecting much. In the end, I got just what I expected. I have deleted it from my computer!

Although this is a neat looking skin it has flaws:
1. The included source file with the PSD wont allow a break out of the deign elements like the open book in the header.
2. The portal.aspx file had the control panel set to "false" so it took me a while to figure out why I couldn't see the control panel.
3. The skin only has 2 panes to work with. One on the left side in the dark grey area and one large content pane in the middle. This will limit your design for sure.

I had difficulty loading the module - even though I had loaded seveeral before. With tech support I was able to get the module loaded, but it still will not function. I have asked for tech support several times and it still will not recognize the Google API code. I get multiple error messages. The module does not work and their tech support provides no opeating support.

Never buy unless you have plenty of time contacting their support.
The template is nice but that's not what you really going to get when you install, you will see something different, you have to contact them and they will ask for your FTP and Login information so that they can do it.
Some features are missing, like downloading a new module, again you will have to let them do it. Don't understand whats why, why are we buying it if doesn't have the features listed on the demo.

I wanted to write a review about DNNCovered for a long time. At least a year and 8 months these guys have been making custom skins,porting sites and making custom modules. I have never worked with a better group of professionals in a long time. When you consider the distance and language barriers and I mean from my side,you just cant find better than DNNCovered. Support by chat,email and never have I been worried that they couldn't do anything I asked. If you need a company to support any effort in DNN then may I personally suggest DNNCovered.
I have complete confidence in these guys try them out.

This is my first and only negative review of any module or skin. Do not purchase this skin as it violates international copyright laws regarding the red cross symbol. I was forced to redesign my site with another skin because of the legal issues around the use of the red cross symbol. Support is terrible. I asked for a refund and was denied by DNNCovered. They said there was a no refund policy and that I had been using the skin for too long (<1 year). They said the red cross symbol used in this skin is not the same as the "Red Cross" organizations logo. Well it was the red cross themselves who shut down my site. Does it matter how long I used the skin for before requesting a refund if the skin was illegal to begin with? Just because it took the Red Cross a year to find my site doesn't make it any better or any more legal. DNNCovered was unpleasent in the tone of their emails to me. Like I was some sort of joke to them. Is the customer not always right? For a $28 refund this negative re

This is my reply on this negative review. Well the customer realised the illegal issue year after purchasing and using the medical skin. Point to be noted why customer directly asked for the refund why they didnt asked to change the design banner for them to remove the Redcross symbol. Mostly in all of our customer support we asked them for the URL links to see the problem and rectify it.But the customer refused to send us the url link.
Moreover Customer made the excuss for the Redcross logo as he want to change their website skin layout after a 1 year.
We request to the snowcovered memeber to remove this negative rateing without any reason.
The skin itself looks ok, but is a hazzle to install, and is devided into multiple files.
Rather than making an actual theme/skin-file with everything included, the vendor suggests unzipping and manually installing several skinfiles and container files - one at a time. This makes the skin difficult to install and difficult to use.
Additionally, the skin does not contain thumbnails of the overall skin template, or the containers.
Finally, the vendor changed the description of the product, after I approached them for an explanation on how to install the file, and why there was only 1 page template. The product/sales description initially stated that the template was available in both 800x600 and 1024x768 layout, but the latter option was not in the file i purchased, and has now been removed from the description.
Overall the skin looks pretty decent - but it is certainly not what I thought i was buying. While the vendor claims to be a "professional company", this skin is surely not of "professional" quality.

It looked a great module but it doesn't have a start date (it does have an expiry date) and you can link to a page but you can't browse to a file (such as a PDF). Maybe these features will be added later?

Really poorly developed skin. It should have used the HTML template method so it can be easily edited in a design tool In addition, it only has one page, the layout it ok for a home page, but doesn't work for sub pages. A waste of money and time. It takes too much time for me to change the skin to my needs, I would have been better off designing this from scratch.

Tech support replied very hurried with uninformative answers until challenged. Module needs more options like open news in new window when clicked (if possible). Developer needs to supply users guide with examples and references with download. Developer needs to explain what style sheets are, how to use them and where to get them. Keeping looking if you’re wanting a robust news feed with options, this one has no options and no special features.
This news feed http://rss.mnginteractive.com/live/SLT/SaltLakeTribune_26.xml renders fine in firefox but shows code in News Ticker Lite on http://hamiltonhideaway.com/dotnetnuke I would hope that the developer can improve/fix this in a future version.

The skin is great, but the service and support received by these guys is FAR beyond anything I could ever have expected!!! I will always buy my skins from them from now on! Although there were a few problems and issues with the skin I purchased, the developer immediately resolved the problem and even created a custom solution for our situation at no charge! Way to go guys!!! If all the developers selling at Snowcovered were like these guys, the world would be a better place!!!
