Their license system is bad. I get it more than a week a go and still missing my order in their database? Do not buy from them, you will not get what you pay for.

It's a regular module, do not order the thumbnails. The photos do not display well on mobile devices. the only good thing is the administration of the photos you can upload via ftp and build it from this module.

The core functionality of this module works well but there are several significant issues. The customer service is very unreliable, at best. I found their support person very unhelpful, as they provided feedback and suggested doing things that I already knew for a fact would not fix the issue.
There is a bug with this module. When you click the read more link of any news item, the skin changes to the Edit skin (whatever you set on your site), so the visitor sees a complete change in the look of your site (unless you set the Edit skin to be the same as your Site skin). Further, there is not title displayed for the module after you click Read more. That just makes the module container look poor in my opinion. I struggled to get any useful help regarding this issue due to the above issue with support.
Here are some other things that aren't bugs, but just things to be aware of:
-Although you can assign items to categories, the category of a news item is not displayed anywhere. The user sees mention of a category only in the dropdown box used to filter news item by category. They basically use categories exclusively for backend administration.
-Although the module content is searchable, when you click on the link from any list of search results, it takes you to the first page of news items, regardless of which page the item is actually on. The url is formatted correctly, but the module does not correctly grab the info from the querystring and use it to jump to the appropriate page.
-When you're in the Manage News section and you click Edit on a news item, after you return from editing, you are sent to the first page of news items, regardless if the item you edited was on page 2 or 50. That's very annoying and it makes it difficult to edit your news item effectively.
There are other similar issues that could be easily fixed but I will not mention anymore.

This module made it very easy to add videos to my DNN website and looked very professional. My only complaint would be that it limits the dimensions of my videos.

This is ok for basic sites, but if you build any site with EasyDNN solution or UVG, this SEO simply fails. I all but stopped using since their relations person told me the update to fix these issues were a year away. (I am sorry, but the release of the new Module version will be not earlier than on the 18.12.13.) so your saying Dec 18 2013!!

The Module Looks very nice on your website`s page.
This skin is a coding disaster. The menus are malformed, no breadcrumb, I've tried to get support on it without any success. I ended up having to make all the corrections myself. They told me they were going to add code for a breadcrumb and never did. The skin itself is a nightmare to work with, since the z-axes are completely messed up and you can't even access the edit menus. Don't buy.
Also, re: the Twitter module I purchased with this skin—I am so frustrated with this module, it's not even funny. How hard is it to make a Twitter feed module work? Apparently, very. This thing is intermittently up and down—mostly down. I've spent days and long chains of messages trying to get support on it, without success. Do NOT recommend.

I've now purchased two skins from this company, and both of them had errors, missing code, z-axis problems, and have generally been a pain in the ass to customize. Also, they're expensive. Do not recommend anything from Coding Staff. I've been building DNN sites for years, and have never had a tenth the trouble with other products as I have with theirs in the last year.

I give it 0 stars. The skin does not work as indicated. The install video that is online does not match the files that you get in the download. Customer support is very lacking and almost non existant. I am still waiting to get files that were missing in the orignal download.

I am disappointed with the level of service and support that I have got since purchasing this module. After installed an option came up through FB that led to the superuser being blocked - thus I could not test or use the product. Also Coding staff were not clear how the syntax of the URL direction to FB ought be (should be specific in the documentation). Thereafter I tried emailing them and using their support desk and emails were unanswered or no real attempt to resolve the problem was made. Tried ringing them via the # listed on their site, but just got unset-up voice box. I am going to buy another providers software if they do not resolve after making this post.

Contacted support (had to open a ticket) and they instructed me to put a license.txt file in a directory that either doesn't exist or I don't have acess to.
Deleted the module and will use something else. Big waste of time.

Sorry that we were not quite clear with you.
The DesktopModules folder is stored in the root of your website. You can get the access to this folder using FTP. FTP account can be requested from PowerDNN or any other hosting provider.
Thus, it was necessary to open this folder via FTP, upload license.txt there and restart application in the Host Settings (you should have Host credentials to the DNN website for getting the access to Host -> Host Settings page).

Product DOES NOT WORK. A real hassle to purchase, download and install. The nsoftware does not work, and you cannot select videos to play from the drop-down box. AVOID.

Although it is a nice looking skin it won't work on an ipad. Support started great, it had an issue with long submenu names that was solved. But after discovering that it won't let me select a submenu using an ipad and asking them to correct the issue a couple times, a week has gone by with no answer. Hopefully this review will make them take some action.

This module is advertised as working with DNN versions 4.5 and above. We purchased the module and loaded it on DNN 4.9 and it generates an error message. I have contacted Coding Staff and supplied them with the error documentation. it has been over a week now and can't get them to answer my emails... Just crickets... Stay away from these guys.

It is too bad no one has came up with a way to offer an image "gallery" that can display both images and related html content which describes what the image is - a story about the image.
I purchased DNN portfolio in hopes it would serve a similar purpose. This is very difficult to add photos to say the least, no re-use of images on the server with no re sizing. Cumbersome, and difficult to use. If the names start with the same characters - only one uploads.
If you just need to have a VERY basic portfolio it may work for you; but with the lack of any real features I would consider an alternative first.

I don't like the fact that product only works for 15 days while in trial mode. Since my development window was 2.5 months I had to explain to client during the demonstration phase why they could not see the calendar. A limit to amount of posts or a nag message would have been better than just shutting off. That being said, the module otherwise works great and I LOVE the fact that you can style using jQuery theme roller. Brilliant move!

I'm disappointed with this module. It looks cool on the surface, but you are locked in to using the weird thumbnails underneath the player. You can make the thumbnails go away, but then you lose the "edit" and "delete" controls in the admin. We asked the vendor what to do about it, and they offered to charge us more money to fix it. That didn't work for us, as we didn't feel we should pay to make the module do what it should already do. Why pay them to fix their bugs? It's already an expensive module (we got the enterprise license). We ended up not using for our project.

Initially I was unable to install on a live site even though I had a receipt for a licensed copy. Requested an explanation and their support staff responded quickly and professionally. Turned out to be a misuncerstanding on how to fill-in license form. My mistake. Module appears to be fine; good support.

Very Easy to deploy! I was expecting to have to put my coding in from Twitter but did not. Very user friendly. No directions needed. I was posting to my twitter FROM WEBSITE IN MINUTES. Quick Pictures Gallery easily fits the bill if you are looking for some "pop" on your website but have a limited budget. This module is straight forward and easy to use - though you may have to make a minor adjustment to the web config... depending on your DNN install. In my particular portal I had to determine the best size for the thumbnails to avoid rendering issues - but that was the only glitch. Support was very responsive though the answer to my problem seemed a bit canned. I would like to see more options (especially for temporary vs. production) in domain licensing, but overall I rate this vendor and product as very good!

Flash Banner and Slideshow has become a staple in my website development projects because it is affordable, straight forward, and easy to use. The overall install when smoothly - though I did have to update my web config. Support was very responsive as they answered all of my questions promptly. Any issues with domains are easily resolved - though I would like to see more options (especially for dev vs. staged vs. production) in domain licensing. Overall I rate this vendor as excellent!

I purchased the source code of this module but the download provided does not include it. This company forces you to request it even though you already spent the money for it. Then the request goes into a ticket system which you need to register to.

This is an OK module. It is very limited on what you can show since there is no control on the tooltip format. In addition, it adds multiple errors as far as w3c standards.

This module is really nice and it solves an important problem.
When you have a DNN site with a horizontal tabbed menu and then want a small side menu for the pages under a specific tab, all you need to do is drop in this module.
It creates an accordion menu that enables the user to navigate around the child pages on the tab.
It looks great, works beautifully and when I had a question, I got a response back quickly. This was especially nice since the module was free.

very nice skin , but i test it with dnn 4.x and it has many problems .
first there is no guide for installation.
second if you install it with dnn 4.x has many bugs.
i didnt test it with version 5.x and staffcoding they said its for dnn 5.x and up.
but coding staff is friendly staff and good support and i think they will deliver very powerfull dnn modules and skins and i like their work.

Sorry about that, but the skin is not advertised as compatible with dotnetnuke 4.x versions.
It still works with 4.x but requires additional css tweaks.

This is really nice, easy to customize, and works great. What's even better is it's so easy to use, you can just grab the javascript from their site, and place a button anywhere on your page. If you want, you can also create your own button and set it in the script file.
Just to make it clear, this module links to the SHAREPOST service, but it's free. The 'email page' does not look very nice, so I turned it off and just use the links to social sites.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC MODULE!... SIMPLE AND AFFORDABLE! Not Over Priced! Whats also great is this module has a nice alternate image feature built into the module so that when you get someone who is a FLASH HATER...(possibly for security reasons) you can show them an alternate image such as a Gif file image. Some competitors of other rotating flash banners don't even try to incorporate that feature for their rotating flash banners. The Staff is quick with any questions or issues (if any that may arise) I strongly recommend this module. Its very well priced. And well priced is VERY IMPORTANT in today’s economy.

Nice Module and is just what I was looking for over 3D Stack, but still has bugs in it. No documentation or help buttons in the control. No Settings controls so be ready to start modifying the CSS when you get started and don't make it menu accessible until you are ready for it to go live. No image management.

This module has made one of our portal admins incredibly happy (they have over 3000 registered users).
I did encounter a glitch with the initial installation that was provided and had to contact CodingStaff to resolve the problem.
THEIR SUPPORT WAS INCREDIBLE! Within a few days, we finally discovered the cause of the glitch and they provided me with an updated package very quickly.
