Product reviews for DNNUpgrade 2.6 - Accelerate and automate DNN upgrades.

I've been working with DNN since version 3.x so I've seen a ton of module developers come and go.  Evotiva has been around for almost as long but this Automatic Upgrade module is SWEET!!  Combined with their DNN Backup module you will never blow up another DNN application trying to apply an update.  This module does everything for you.  Tweak a few settings click GO and kick back and watch it work.  I doubt I'll ever do another manual backup.  This is definitely a keeper!!

I often wondered why anyone would purchase the DNNUpgrade module. I mean like, performing a DNN upgrade is a no-brainer; simply overwrite the existing files with the upgrade files, hit the URL, respond to a couple of prompts and that’s it – finished! Right? In a perfect work perhaps. A couple of days ago I discovered that the DNN platform is not perfect. Yes I am a newbie. During a manual upgrade of my site from DNN 734 to 742 the site was rendered useless. Of course I had a backup which I restored using DNNBackup and then I tried again - this time to 741 with the same result. It was at that point (a bit later actually) that I gave up, stepped aside and gave the job DNNUpgrade which completed the task in two optimized, conservative and responsible steps. Bang! Done. Obviously DNNUpgrade knows more than I do. Whatever.  Anyway, I now own a DNNUpgrade license and no longer wonder. Thanks Evotiva.

I had some problem and not able to upgrade one of my site from DNN 6.2.6 to 7.2.2 and decided to try DNNUpgrade.  The product works great. The support team responded and help resolved some of the problem I have quickly.  If you are maintaining a high value website using DNN and need to upgrade to newer version from time to time, DNNUpgrade is a valuable tool that will save you time and headache.

This module made is super easy to upgrade my sites! I use the Backup module as well and I love that the 2 are integrated, doing a backup before upgrading.  No more FTPing 1000's of files in order to upgrade my sites! A definite "Must Have" for any site

It is hard to say enough good things about DNNBackUp and DNN Upgrade. The products work well and are designed to be user-friendly. When questions arise, Horacio is there promptly to explain what needs to be done. The products make cloning and migrating websites about as easy as I expect this can be.
