FAQs

FAQ's

  • Q: I have YouTube Video Gallery Module 2.0.2. Will this module work with DNN 6?

A: Hi, Yes the module works with version 6, it will actually work with any DNN version from 5 onwards. Thanks Nigel.

  • Q: Hi there again, At the begining, thanx for reply quickly. And i need more answers. Waht about the Colors of letters and modules skin color, are these also possible to change on resource files.

A: Hi, The colors are stored in .CSS files, so again it would be possible to modify this to match your website. Regards Nigel.

  • Q: Hi there, Does this module has Turkish language option or not?

A: Hi, The text used within the module is stored in resource files (.resx) so it can be translated to any language you wish. Thanks Nigel.

  • Q: Hi Can you tell me if I can simply add individual videos to create galleries, rather than using a playlist? Also, is it OK in DNN v5.02.02 Many thanks Tony

A: Hi, You can either select to play videos by entering your YouTube account userID and selecting favourites or playlists from that account. Alternatively there is a search feature so you could put in your individual video title and have it play that or enter a generic term like "sport" and it will search for all sport videos. Yes it is compatible with version 5.X onwards of DNN. Thanks Nigel.

  • Q: Hello, We use your video module and all we produce is HD videos. Is it possible for you to give us an option to format the frame for 16:9 videos. I venture to guess that not alot of videos made today are not HD and are best viewed in a 16:9 frame. In your software the frame is 4:3 and it leaves a large black strip on the top and bottom of the video being played. It would appear alot cleaner in the frame if the frame was 16:9. Thanks for your consideration. Dave

A: Hi Dave, You are correct, I will add in some settings that will let you set the width / height of the video player that way you can set the player to match if you use HD or none HD videos. Best regards Nigel.
