• Q: I want to know if I can access to a specific page of the magazine via link. I want to make a news letter and use the magazine in my portal, is it possible? regards Diego

  A: Sorry, it doesn't allow you link to specific page via link. However, I recommend our Cross Article 6.0 module if you want to make news letter. Cross Article 6.0 enables multiple users to publish their news/article/blogs and attach videos/audios/images/documents with it. • Q: Good Morning, I installed the new version and I will localize it as soon as possible. Are you interested in the italian localization? If yes I can send you the resx files once translated. Now that I installed the 4.2 version when I click the rotating magazine, the preview is too white. In the 4.1 version I saw the colours I saw in the thumbnail and it was good for us. • Q: Good Evening, I would like receive suggestions (if you have) about the format of the jpg files (how many dpi? the dimensions etc) with the aim to achieve a good compromise between quality and speed of download. We bought the version 4.1 of Silverlight Carousel Magazine we would like if possible to receive the upgrade to version 4.2. I need to know also how to localize the text “VIEW” when you click the rotating magazine. I searched the text “view” in the resx files and I didn’t find it. • Q: How i can upload the images of the magazine? one by one, zip file, pdf? yo have some sreens?

  A: I apologize for my delay reply. I am out to a remote city where I have no way to access Internet these days. Well,you can upload one by one via dnn file manage page (Admin - File Manager) . Or you can upload a zip file ,then check "Uncompress" option to let dnn unzip for you. The only thing you need attention is named them by sequence. Like page00.jpg,page01.jpg,page02.jpg... • Q: hello. This module looks great and we are interested in it. My question is how we create each magazine? We must insert every picture in a table or something or is there an easy way, like convert a pdf file to a magazine? Thank you.

  A: Module can display multiple magazines at the same time .Each magazine is making up of pages. Before configuration this module, you need prepare your images first. It is important because it has specific requirements. (1) Each magazine corresponding to a folder under your portal directory. Its page images must be directly under this folder. (2)Images under magazine folder should be named like page00.jpg(which represents the first page),page01.jpg(which represents the second page),...page54.jpg(represents the 55th page),etc. It supports up to 100 pages for each magazine (which means the last page image name is page99.jpg). (3)Page name is case – insensitive, so “Page00.jpg” or “page00.jpg” will be the same. Contact us if you need more detail
