Whats new in v2.2?
- Now show/hide which fields display on search listing grid

Renaming fields allows you to utilize the module on many implementations outside of Real Estate implementations. Maybe rentals, even use the module as a classified ads module, etc...
- New Featured Listing feature to feature listings. Featured listings will display on their own featured listing module seperate from the standard module
- Setup Wizard - A new setup wizard is setup to aid in walking you through the initial setup. With the new wizard you will be up and running in a matter of minutes.
- New feature to show / hide links displayed on the main search page by security role (links to view listings, add listings, view messages, etc...)
- New feature to automatically set the default expiry dates, also additional feature to optionally allow the user to change the expire date themselves

Whats new in v2.0?
- Now the listing page is completely template based. Although you can start with the default template you can also modify the entire design in a Rich Text Editor (WYSIWYG). Easily move, remove, or change the look of your Real Estate module quickly!
- Option to now 'Auto Approve' listings
- Option to change each property within the 'Add Listing' page. Now you can easily change 'Zip Code' to 'Postal Code' from an easy user-interface or change 'Address' to 'Property Address'.
- New option to 'Default search' upon initially loading the module. This way you can default the module to display with listings already within the grid.?
- New feature to default search to either advanced or simple search
- New feature to display a message to the user after initially submitting a new listing or after updating a listing (i.e. Thanks for your submission, we will review it and get back with you or Thanks for your submission, or system is setup to automatically approve your listing so it has already been posted.)
Features:
- Allow registered users to submit detailed listings including description, property type such as condo/house, and up to eight pictures which can be displayed within a gallery or slideshow view
- Anonymous users can search listings, contact the seller/ask seller question, or schedule a time to view the property with the email
- Emails distributed through the system can be monitored by the Site Administrator, additionally listings are approved by the Site Administrator before they are active on the web site
- Registered users can add multiple listings if needed, and manage their listings descriptions and details easily at any time
- “View My Messages” section within the module for registered users to review messages users have submitted to them
- Users can choose from multiple options for displaying their contact information (i.e. display full contact information, private message but hide contact information, and do not show my contact information)
Other administration features:
- Define thumbnail size for listing page
- Module to approve/deny listings that are submitted by the user
- Define how many search results are displayed per page
- Administrator can setup two optional links that are included within display template to other areas of the site
- When a new listing is submitted, and email is sent to the administrator to approve the listing. Once the listing is approved it will be viewable to everyone and include an expiration date

A: The standard edition is licensed for a single DNN installation but with unlimited portals under that installation. The Enterprise Edition is licensed for as many DNN installations as your organization directly owns/maintains (cannot redistribute or distribute separately to clients but an unlimited amount for Enterprise License for each organization who purchases the license). The source code is included with either package (if you choose to purchase that option).

Q: Does the module support a way to have people submitting listings to pay a fee?

A: Hi, at the moment the answer is NO. However, you can purchase "Dynamic Registration 3.2" and it can implement a procedure when the user registers, they will have to pay a certain fee (through Paypal or AuthorizeNet) which would enable them to be a paying user and then submit listings to Real Estate.

Q: Hi, I'd like to use this modules for rental listings. Is it possible to enter properties and then only list them when they are available? This would eliminate the need to reenter property data when it's available to rental again, say on a weekly/monthly basis. Also, is there a demo version that can be downloaded?

Q: I have a client who does industrial real estate, and I was wondering if the fields like "bathrooms" can be changed into something like "loading" or "sprinkers", and also if additional columns can be added other than the ones already there.
A: Yep! Each label within the entire module can be changed. So you could change 'School Location' to be 'Loading' or Bathrooms to be 'Sprinklers' etc... We have had many clients use this module as a classified ads module, leasing for boats or renting boats, pet friendly apartments, etc... You cannot currently add additional columns but you can rename all labels throughout all user-facing pages in the 'Rename property fields' section and the 'Manage property template' section. These same properties will be renamed on search pages, search grids, property templates, etc...

Q: Hello, I have a few questions.
1. I need a realestate module where I can restrict who can add a listing. I would like to be able to charge realestate agents a monthly fee in order to add listings. Is there a way I can assign a role under DNN user accounts for "realestate" and make it so the Real Estate 2.2 module will only accept adding listings if a logged in user has that role assigned to their DNN user account?
2. Is there a way to list the agent under his or her listings?
3. Can I use the Real Estate 2.2 standard version under multiple portals on 1 DNN installation?
A: 1. Hi, yes you can specify the security role that is allowed to add listings
2. Do you just mean their contact information on the listing template? If so yes, this can be setup as optional parameters/tokens within the detailed listing template.
3. Yes, as long as its the same DNN installation you can use the module on as many portals within that installation as you would like. If you need additional licenses or DNN installations you should purchase the Enterprise Package.

Once a user creates a property detail can they perform any editing to the details once submitted and will the access be unique to them only.

Q: What is the difference between the standard and enterprise editions?
A: Hi. The Enterprise Edition includes full source and also the license to install the module on multiple instances of DNN (standard is licensed for only one installation of DNN).

A: We have had several clients use the module for rentals but its not geared towards that specifically. You can change field labels (easily from an admin interface) which is what users did before to change the look of the module to support rentals. Thanks!

REAL ESTATE MODULE LICENSE AGREEMENT PROVISIONS
Software License Agreement
1. This is an agreement between Licensor (Data Springs Inc.) and Licensee, who is being licensed to use the named
Software (“Real Estate Module”).
2. Licensee acknowledges that this is only a limited nonexclusive license. Licensor is and remains the owner of all titles,
rights, and interests in the Software. Licensee may not sell, distribute, or package for sale named Software.
3. This License permits Licensee to install the Software on one installation of DotNetNuke® without additional fees or
licenses. Licensee will not make copies of the Software or allow copies of the Software to be made by others, unless
authorized by this License Agreement. Licensee may make copies of the Software for backup purposes only Note: If
module software source code was purchased the changes made to the source code/recompiled version are still
licensed only to one installation of DotNetNuke®.
4. This Software is subject to a limited warranty. Licensor warrants to Licensee that the physical medium on which
this Software is distributed is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, the Software will
perform according to its printed documentation, and to the best of Licensor’s knowledge Licensee’s use of this
Software according to the printed documentation is not an infringement of any third party’s intellectual property rights.
This limited warranty lasts for a period of 30 days after delivery. To the extent permitted by law, THE ABOVE-STATED
LIMITED WARRANTY REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND LICENSOR
DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY,
NONINFRINGEMENT, OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No agent of Licensor is authorized to
make any other warranties or to modify this limited warranty. Any action for breach of this limited warranty must be
commenced within one year of the expiration of the warranty. Because some jurisdictions do not allow any limit on the
length of an implied warranty, the above limitation may not apply to this Licensee. If the law does not allow disclaimer
of implied warranties, then any implied warranty is limited to 30 days after delivery of the Software to Licensee.
Licensee has specific legal rights pursuant to this warranty and, depending on Licensee’s jurisdiction, may have
additional rights.
5. In case of a breach of the Limited Warranty, Licensee’s exclusive remedy is as follows: Licensee will return all copies
of the Software to Licensor, at Licensee’s cost, along with proof of purchase. (Licensee can obtain a step-by-step
explanation of this procedure, including a return authorization code, by contacting Licensor at
[license@datasprings.com].) At Licensor’s option, Licensor will either send Licensee a replacement copy of the
Software, at Licensor’s expense, or issue a full refund.
6. Notwithstanding the foregoing, LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE TO LICENSEE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING
COMPENSATORY, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
CONNECTED WITH OR RESULTING FROM THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT OR LICENSEE’S USE OF THIS
SOFTWARE. Licensee’s jurisdiction may not allow such a limitation of damages, so this limitation may not apply.
7. Licensee agrees to defend and indemnify Licensor and hold Licensor harmless from all claims, losses, damages,
complaints, or expenses connected with or resulting from Licensee’s business operations.
8. Licensor has the right to terminate this License Agreement and Licensee’s right to use this Software upon any material
breach by Licensee.
9. Licensee agrees to return to Licensor or to destroy all copies of the Software upon termination of the License.
10. This License Agreement is the entire and exclusive agreement between Licensor and Licensee regarding this
Software. This License Agreement replaces and supersedes all prior negotiations, dealings, and agreements between
Licensor and Licensee regarding this Software.
11. This License Agreement is governed by the law of California applicable to California contracts.
12. This License Agreement is valid without Licensor’s signature. It becomes effective upon the earlier of Licensee’s
signature or Licensee’s use of the Software.
