Q: is the Puure Skin Pack DNN 6.x compatible? Specifically does it use the DNN Garden menu system, or does this need to be manually upgraded?

A: Hi Shawn, our Puure skin does not have a DNN6 specific version. It does work on DNN6 but it still uses the NAV token instead of the new DDR menu.

Q: I just read some of the other questions people have posted which created a question for me. When I buy this I don't get the tuning tool so I can change my site at random when ever I feel like?
In the banner, is there a limit to how many different banner I can add?
Is there a tool to help em build those banners?
A: Hi Jeff, the tuning tool is not a module, but an online application. You CAN use it as many times as necessary to tweek your skin, and custom skins will be sent to your email address in just a few minutes.
About the jQuery header, our new version (almost ready to be released) has no limit on the number of slideshow instances on one page, nor the number of slides per slideshow.

Q: This looks really neat, just a question:
The width slider is cool, but is there some option like the default dnn skin to have several presets, eg, 1024/1200/full, for the end user to choose? If not, is this an option that has been requested and is likely to be added in the future?
Also, is there a way (like the default dnn skin) to choose search between site and google? in the sample, this option doesn't seem to be present.
A: Hi Roller, until now nor in Puure or in our other skins we haven't yet receive that request. We can however help you in adding that functionality to your Puure skin.
About the search, the default search options are just marked not to be shown, so that can easily be changed.

Q: I like the look of this skin but do I have to purchase the 11 modules @ $69 each in addition to a $599 for the skin? That seems a bit pricey.
A: Hi Steve, no, that is not the pricing for Puure. If you are interested in the DNN Skin Pack it costs $119. You can select the extended pack and, for an additional $69, you get the full skin pack for the DNN core modules (puure is the only skin pack available to have this product offering). A: Hi David, you can generate an UNLIMITED number of skins with the tuning tool. Each license then allows you to use them on one production website.

This new skin product (or should I say products) is a great idea! But, looking at your demo site, it states that only "customers" can see the 100+ templates that are available. So, I would need to buy the $120 skin package before I can actually see what's available? I would really rather be able to look through your gallery of templates before deciding to buy -- or have I misunderstood how this custom skin product works? Is it that each of the templates in the gallery are actually based on the same basic template, each is just a pre-designed "look" created by your designer using your on-line customization tools?

A: Hi Jim, Puure is an online platform to generate custom skins. You can run our online tuning tool, for FREE, at http://dnn5.bind.pt/Default.aspx?tabid=467 (just expand the tuning tool and you are ready to test it).
Puure offers infinite site combinations, and we know how hard it can be to create a perfect layout. That's why we developed a gallery of pre-defined templates, with great configurations already set by our team to save our customers some work. You have access to one of these templates, just to get a glitch of the great work available in our gallery.

BIND NEW MEDIA & DESIGN - END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
REDISTRIBUTION NOT PERMITTED
The resale and/or redistribution of this skin pack is strictly prohibited.
1) LIMITED USAGE GRANTED
1.1) FOR DOTNETNUKE
You may use this product on one single production website only, belonging to either you or your client. A new purchase has to be made, to use the product in another website. You may install this product on one non-public DotNetNuke installation for development purposes.
These restrictions also apply to the set of all custom packs generated with the skin tuning tool (within the same license, under the same invoiceID). Even though you can order several custom packs, you can only apply them to one portal.
Usage of purchased Add-Ons is also resctricted to the same production website as the one using the skin. Add-Ons cannot be installed in sites using other skins that the one concerning this purchase.
If you purchased “Puure DNN Skin Pack Enterprise License”, you may use this product on an unlimited number of websites hosted on a single web server. You may also use the product on one non-public server for development purposes.
1.2) FOR SHAREPOINT
This is a One Time Usage License.
For INTERNET usage, you may use this Theme Package (related to your invoiceID) on one single domain only, belonging to either you or your client. You have to purchase the same template again if you need to use the same design in another project/domain.
For INTRANET usage, you may use this Theme Package (related to your invoiceID) on one single server farm only, belonging to either you or your client. You have to purchase the same template again if you need to use the same design in connection with another or in other projects.
If you are a Sharepoint hosting provider or Sharepoint Saas provider, with multi-tenant architectures, this license is only valid per tenant (one license per final customer).
These restrictions also apply to the set of all custom packs generated with the skin tuning tool (within the same license). Even though you can order several custom packs, you can only apply them in one server / web application.
2) IMAGERY
All imagery used in our skins is royalty-free and are the integral part of our products. Limited-usage License gives you the right to use images only as a part of the website you build using your skin. You can use imagery to develop one project only. Any kind of separate usage or distribution is prohibited.
3) MODIFICATIONS
You are authorised to make any necessary modification(s) to our products to fit your purposes.
4) UNAUTHORISED USE
You may not place any of our products, modified or unmodified, on a diskette, CD, website or any other medium and offer them for redistribution or resale of any kind without prior written consent from our company.
5) ASSIGNABILITY
You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer this license to anyone else without prior written consent from BIND.
6) OWNERSHIP
It is hereby understood and agreed that BIND is the owner of all right title and interest to this software product, which you are about to purchase a license to use and download. You, as licensee, through your purchase of this license, do not acquire any ownership rights to the software.
You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified.
7) NO WARRANTY.
Our products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall we be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.
8) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
In no event will BIND New Media & Design be liable to you for any damages, claims or costs whatsoever or any consequential, indirect, incidental damages, or any lost profits or lost savings or for any claim by any third party.
9) OUR REFUND POLICY
Since BIND is offering non-tangible, irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds after the product is shipped, which you acknowledge prior to purchasing any of our products. Please make sure that you've carefully reviewed product's information. We only make exceptions with this rule when the product appears to be not-as-described on a case by case basis at our sole discretion. The deadline for any refund claim is one week after the delivery date. The refund is issued to you after we receive a Waiver of Copyright signed by you. This is a required condition.
10) INSTALLATIONS
We do not install any of our products.
Installation is a paid service which is not included in the package price.
