  • Q: I noticed in the demo website the width of the multi-column submenu drop down is fixed, regardless of the number of the columns. Is it possible to have the width varied depending on the number of submenu columns? Thanks, KJN

    A: The short answer is YES. The best way to accomplish this is by manually over riding CSS rules for each top-level (root level) menu item. This is covered in the following forum post: http://www.packflash.com/ContactUs/Forums/tabid/144/forumid/12/threadid/30/scope/posts/Default.aspx (see the area for sample 2). Keep in mind that when you start changing the menu width you also need to take the menu position into account. That is, if you want the menu to be less than full page width, you will need to have the position change so that it is always under the selected (hovered) top-level item. We demonstrate how this is possible in one of our samples (see http://mega.packflash.com/WrightSkin/FreeSamples/Sample6DotNetNuke.aspx ). We find that the full-width approach preserves the maximum flexibility for the skins that we sell.

Product License

All PackFlash products are available in two differently licensed editions. The licensing model is based on domain names, NOT on DNN installations or portals. The standard edition allows for a single production domain, and unlimited development domains. The enterprise edition allows for an unlimited number of domains and installations that are owned and controlled by the purchasing organization. The enterprise license is not transferable and is NOT appropriate for developers who wish to distribute the software to multiple clients.
