You can create and track virtually any ‘conversion’ event on your site and allocate commissions in hierarchy up to 5 levels deep.

Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager supports 'multi-tier' Affiliate Programs where Affiliates can earn commissions on not only their sales but also sales of other Affiliates they refer to the Affiliate Program. In addition Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager supports multiple number of different Affiliate Programs where each program has different number of tiers and Affiliates hierarchy, separate commission events, promotional materials ('creatives'), payment options and etc.

Multiple Tiers

Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager supports Affiliate Programs with multiple commission levels where Affiliates can earn commissions not only for sales generated by their direct marketing efforts, but also for subscribing new Sub-Affiliates as well as for all sales generated by efforts of their Sub-Affiliates. Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager can handle up to 15 commission levels.
Multiple Affiliate Programs

You can manage multiple Affiliate Programs which helps to you organize your promotion activities or allows you to differentiate programs with different categories of commissions (for example "Silver", "Gold", "Platinum" or similar concept) . Each Affiliate Program has its own settings like different number of Tiers and Affiliates hierarchy, separate commission events, creatives, payment options and etc.

Commission Events

Commission Events are specific visitor actions that you want to track and pay commission for. You can create unlimited number of Events and specify different commission terms & bonuses for each of them.


Supported event types:

  • pay per visit (or any action)
  • pay per sale
  • pay per lead
  • pay per click

The module comes with several pre-defined events as well as allows you to define your own Events that you want to track. You can set commission amount either as fixed (flat) rate or as percentage of a purchase amount.
Bonuses

The module allows you to motivate your Affiliates with additional bonuses. For example you can automatically increase commission rates or pay one time bonus based on performance. Commission rates can be increased if Affiliate meets a specific threshold such as a number of sales or total amount of sales per specific period of time.
Options to Trigger Commission Events

Commission Events have to be raised based on specific user action (i.e. purchase, opt-in subscription, fill out a form and etc.) The module comes with several pre-defined commission Events as well as allows you to define Custom Events you want to track.  Pre-defined Events ('New Site Visit' and 'New Site Registration') are raised automatically by the system however your Custom Events have to be raised by you.

 

The module offers several options for raising Custom Commission Events:

  • IMAGE Code (generated automatically)
  • JavaScript Code (generated automatically)
  • VB.NET Code (generated automatically)

All code snippets are generated automatically. You just need to place them in the relevant spot on your site (please refer to Module Documentation for further details).

Built-in E-commerce Integration

Module can be integrated with virtually any shopping cart, payment processor, as well as any other module by implementing one of the code snippets that trigger Commission Events (described above).

Payment Policies & Minimum Payout Rates

You can configure Affiliate Program to disburse payments either when Affiliate balance reaches specific amount or by certain calendar period.

In addition you can specify a Minimum Payout Rate so system will generate a payment only if Affiliate's balance reaches specific amount.
Automatic Payment Generation

Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager automatically generates commission payment records according to Affiliate Program's Payment Policy. The Program Administrator and respective Affiliate receive "Payment Due" email notification.
Commission Disbursement Options

The module provides several options to pay commissions:

  • Built-in payment by PayPal® (automatic)
  • Built-in payment by AlertPay® (automatic)
  • Payment by Check (manual)
  • Payment by Direct Deposit /ACH (manual)
Support for Rich Media 'Creatives'

You can prepare and provide your Affiliates with variety of different marketing materials (Creatives). The module supports following Creative formats:

Multiple Categories To Organize Creatives

Categories allow you to organize your promotional materials into groups. This is useful in case you have many products to promote as well as makes it easier for your Affiliates to find the Creative they need.
Two Basic Promotion Types

Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager differentiates between Creatives that promote products or services and Creatives that promote Affiliate Program itself. 

There are two basic promotion types:

  • Product - Creatives that promote your products, services or website
  • Program - Creatives that promote your Affiliate Program and help your Affiliates to recruit Sub-Affiliates
Affiliate Console Interface

The Module has intuitive Affiliate interface that simplifies access to Creatives.  Each Creative has ready-to-use HTML code snippet which has to be published by Affiliate anywhere they like.

The Program Administrator can fully control the Affiliate Console interface by turning on and off different interface options and features.
API (Programming Interface)

The Module can be customized and managed programically though the API.
Fraud Prevention Features

The Multi-tier Affiliate Manager has several build-in fraud prevention features. One of the most effective ways to prevent fraudulent attempts to earn commissions is to set an 'Event Timeout' which specifies the timeout before the same user can raise the same Commission Event again.
Affiliate Link Features

The module generates the direct affiliate links to the pages on your website which help boost your search engine rank.

The Program Administrator can allow Affiliates to use either their DNN user name or any valid name instead of numeric ID in the affiliate link.
Language and Localization

The module can be translated to different languages (please refer to Module Documentation for further details).

Automatic Affiliate Registration

Multi-tier Affiliate Manager can be configured to allow unauthenticated Program Signup. The module will automatically register users on your website as soon as they submit the Program Signup Form.
Dashboard

The Dashboard (module homepage) provides real-time summarized information about user activities, earnings, balances, totals and etc. The Dashboard is available to both Affiliate Program Administrator and Affiliates.

In addition, the Dashboard offers a message board functionality which allows Program Administrator to communicate with the Affiliates.
Reporting

The module offers numerous reports to measure Affiliate performance and measure the success of your Affiliate Program/s. The Module also calculates certain statistical data on the daily basis. All reports can be exported to Excel and as HTML file formats.

  • Q: Why are you limiting the number of tiers to 5? Is there any way of extending this to say 10 tiers?

    A: The module description is actually outdated. The module now supports up to 15 levels. FYI, There are several USA States which limit number of multi-tier affiliate program levels to 5 by law.

  • Q: How to stop the user auto login when the user completes signup form

    A: Currently there is no way to stop user from logging in. However you do not have to use our signup form to register users. You can register users any way you like and once they are registered and logged in then you can redirect them to the affiliate program signup form.

  • Q: I need to purchase an additional license, can I use the "Additional License" option for $290 on Snowcovered.com and purchase it that way?

    A: Yes. Once you complete the purchase send us license request as described in installation instruction.

  • Q: I have installed your test system. Under Commission Events I am setting up an Event for Purchase a Product. You have an option under Commission Amounts - Horizontal Commission Scaling Based on Number of Sub-affiliates Recruited Directly, however there is nothing in the manual explaining how this works. Please would you direct me to where I can find information on how the Horizontal Commission Scaling works?

    A: Horizontal Commission Scaling allows you to have different commission breakdowns based on how many affiliates were recruited by the subject affiliate. This is an option that allows you to motivate affiliates to recruit more sub-affiliates.

  • Q: Is Multi-tier Affiliate Manager fully compatible with Dnn 6.x?

    A: Yes. It is fully compatible as of November 04, 2011 Multi-tier Affiliate Manager version 02.02.16 and up.

  • Q: I have a question about integrating the Multi-Tier Affiliate Manager for DNN into our e-commerce workflow. We are developing a custom DNN shopping cart to meet our business requirements. Customers will place orders on the web. Those orders will then be downloaded to be processed through our point of sale software. Sales are not considered complete until they have been processed through our point of sale software. We want to create a Commission Event that pays the affiliate a percentage of the sale. Is it possible we could pass the Affiliate’s ID with the sale to our point of sale software? Then, once the sale is completed in our POS, we could have our POS send the Event Trigger back to the module. Let me know if this scenario could work.

    A: Here is how it can work in your scenario: 1) You create an order using your DNN shopping cart. Our module will automatically correlate between purchaser and their sponsoring affiliate. 2) Once the order is processed by POS software you need to update the shopping cart orders table (set status of an order as "paid" or "completed"). 3) Our module will pick up all paid transactions from orders table using our standard DNN scheduler routine (need to be customized to work with your shopping cart). Everything else (raising event and commission calculation) will happen automatically in our module.

  • Q: Is it your module compatible with DNN version 5.6.x ?

    A: Yes. Absolutely.

  • Q: It says that you support SmithCart but when I tested it on your live demo, smithcart was not available as an e-commerce system. Any ideas?

    A: We simply don't have SmithCart installed on our demo site.

  • Q: the system preferences page asks for a paypal ipn url. unfortunately the paypal dev site does not list entries for that entity. do you know where i can find it? what would i search for? the default value is for a sandbox but i am looking for the live value. and now that i overwrote it with something incorrect it would be nice to know the sandbox value as well.

    A: There is no time limit for trial. It is limited by number of affiliates who can sign-up (15 affiliates max).

  • Q: Hi What would it take to create different compensation plans such as the binary or stair step plans? Do you do this as a development project? Regards Richard

Single Domain End-User License Agreement:

Please review the following license agreement before installing or using the licensed STP Systems software product and/or its related materials.

Definitions: This STP Systems, End-User Software License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either as an individual user, corporation or single entity) and STP Systems, ("STP Systems") for a product which includes computer software, and may include associated media, printed materials, and online or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT" or "SOFTWARE"). By exercising your rights to install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA, including the limitations and warranty disclaimers.

If you do NOT agree to the terms of this EULA, please return the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and immediately destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in your possession.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.

This is a license agreement, and NOT an agreement for sale.
STP Systems retains ownership of the copy of THE SOFTWARE in your possession, and all copies you may be licensed to make. STP Systems retains all rights not expressly granted to you in this LICENSE. STP Systems hereby grants to you, and you accept, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, copy and modify THE SOFTWARE only as authorized below.

Provided that you have accepted the terms contained herein, this EULA grants you the following rights:

a) If you purchased a Single Domain License: You are granted a license to install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single production web server, and use it for a single installation (instance) of your domain name. You are also permitted to use the same license for local testing by referencing the test site with "localhost" or "127.0.0.1".

Domain License Source Code: If you purchased a Domain License with the Source Code for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you are further licensed to view the source code of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and modify it for use as described above. Under no circumstances may the source code or products developed by using the source code be re-distributed in any form.

You are required to ensure that the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is not distributed in any form that allows it to be reused by any application other than that with which you distribute it. For example, if you install an ASP.NET control along with a packaged application on a customer's server, that customer is not permitted to use the control independent of your application.

b) Regardless of the type of license purchased, if the SOFTWARE PRODUCT includes reusable software such as controls, components, plug-ins, stylesheets, etc. you may not use any of these independently of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

In no case shall you rent, lease, lend, redistribute nor re-license THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT or source code to a 3rd party individual or entity, except as outlined above. In no case shall you grant further redistribution rights for THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT to the end-users of your solution.

2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.

Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, STP Systems may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts, source code, associated documentation, and related materials.

3. COPYRIGHT.

All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images,photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by STP Systems except for certain portions for which STP Systems has obtained redistribution rights from the title or copyright holder. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by U.S. copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material.

4. LIMITED WARRANTY.

NO WARRANTIES. STP Systems expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall STP Systems or its distributors be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other financial loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this STP Systems product (THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT) and related materials, even if STP Systems has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.
