Content Management

Theming

Flexible Layout
Default functionality will dynamically size both height and width of the module to fit your page but an admin can always specify a fixed width and/or fixed height.
Tab Header
Tab names are not limited to text labels only. An admin can show any text / html within tab header. It allows you to include Tab Icons and other text / html content.
Effects
Includes Fade and Slide effects out of the box. Effects engine is flexible which allows an admin to create their own effects such as Bounce, Drop, Explode, Pulsate, Shake, etc...
Auto Select Tab
Automatically selects a tab when a user hovers over it without a need for tab click.
Rotate Tabs
Automatically rotates (cycles through) tabs at predefined time intervals. Allows an admin to showcase content without user intervention.
Hide Tabs
Use in conjunction with Rotate Tabs to create a Content Rotator module. When enabled, hides the tabstrip so only the content is visible.
Hide Single Tab
Hides the tabstrip only if there is 1 active tab.
Copy Tab
Quickly create new tab by copying the settings and content of existing tab.
Tabs Perisistence
Remembers the view state of the tabs so users see last selected tab when they return to the page.
Sortable Tabs
Allows a user to re-arrange / sort tabs by dragging them around.
Load On Demand
Loads content of the tab only when it's activated; improves page load speed and performance.
Nested Tabs
Show tabs within tabs by simply embedding a Live Tabs module within another Live Tabs module.
Tabs Permissions
Each tab can be configured to be visible to specific Security Roles. Includes All Users and UnAuthenticated Users...
DotNetNuke Search Integration
Each tab can be optionally configured to show within DNN Search Results. Search results bring the user to appropriate tab on the module. Our Intelligent Tab Links will not only auto select the correct tab, it will also scroll the page down (if needed) to bring the Live Tabs module in view.
Permanent Tab Links (URLs)
Quickly grab the permanent url for each tab which will always bring the user to correct page, correct tab, and even correct position (it will scroll the page if needed to bring the module in view)
Client Tab Links (JavaScript)
Quickly grab the client links for each tab which allows you to switch tabs within the same page from your own links.
DotNetNuke Standard Tokens
Use all DNN Standard Tokens within your Tab Content. Tokens include Portal, Tab, Module, User, Membership, Profile, and Current Date/Time information.
Live Tabs Tokens
Live Tabs specific tokens such as tab name, tab id, next tab link, and prev tab link. Tokens are for Navigation included.
