The first DNN skin optimized for iPhone, BlackBerry, iPad & Android devices. Illumination automatically formats your website content for mobile devices. Now there’s no need for a separate mobile site and sacrificing design appeal. Illumination looks great on any screen.
It works by detecting the user’s screen (PC, iPhone device, BlackBerry device, etc.) and formats itself accordingly. BlackBerry displays websites much like a PC so Illumination formats itself to correct layout issues that would be otherwise problematic in a DNN skin.
Illumination offers 2 layout options for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The FIT SCREEN option adjusts itself to the iPhone device’s screen width as seen in this demo. This eliminates the viewer’s need to zoom in-and-out or side-to-side. It also stacks content panes in a single column making them easy to read. The STANDARD SCREEN option displays Illumination in the iPhone device as a standard website. This would require the user to zoom in-and-out much like the BlackBerry device.
Illumination2 is completely designed in XHTML & CSS. The skin pack also includes a matching Fusion container also designed in XHTML/CSS and optimized for mobile devices. The Fusion container comes in 3 styles... “solid frame,” “soft frame” and “no frame.”
You can make your site any width (including full-width) by changing a single variable.
Illumination2 is compatible with both DNN 4 and DNN 5.
