Elemento

The first thing that I do when contemplating a purchase from the DNN Store is to contact the developer with some question or other. I do usually have a question, but achieving an answer is not the principle reason for the exercise. The inquiry is a test to see if there is actually a person at the other end, paying attention to their product and the care of potential customers. The developer of the Elemento skin, Adammer, passed this test with flying colors! The developer has been very responsive, before and after the sale, and shows real concern for my successful use and enjoyment of his product! Hats off to him. In a day when skin developers seem to add every glitzy feature that they can devise, the Elemento skin is a breath of fresh air. Instead of gaudy colors, over-busy containers, stock banner photos of smiling young professionals and cliched background images, Adammer offers something really unusual... good, clean, solid, standards based, XHTML, CSS, 508 compliant, fully documented code! The Elemento skin lets my content be the star. It is easy to use, very understandable, and the skin.css file is documented very well, making my own custom changes a snap (I changed the size of the standard headings, for example)!
