• Q: 1) Do you offer a free trial of the $98 version. I am not sure I want the multi tier solution and could only find a trial on your website for that version. 2) Is it DNN6.2 compatible?

• Q: If we purchase the single-tier module can we later upgrade to the multi-tier module without overwriting existing data associated with the single-tier module? Thanks, Jango

  A: Yes. You will be able to upgrade to Multi-tier Affiliate Manager and keep all existing data accumulated in Single-tier module.

• Q: Hello, I'm interested in your product, but does it work with DNN 6.0? thank you in advance

  A: Yes. Affiliate Manager is compatible with DNN 6.x

• Q: It's been awhile since any product have been updated. How active is your company and can I still expect support if needed to integrate with a shopping cart not listed in docs?

  A: Thanks for the constructive criticism. We just need to take time to update Snowcovered listing. Actually current module version is 4.03.00 (released on Jan 18th of 2011). ---- We answer most support requests within 12 hours; and of course we will give you a hand with the integration.

• Q: I am interested in offering printed coupons to certain affiliates. The paper coupons would offer a discount and have a unique code that would identify the affiliate. We can identify the affiliate from the code. Can we post an event and specify the affiliate so the proper affiliate would receive the commission through DNN Affiliate Manager?

  A: This can be done by little customization of the module. The unique code would simply be the "Affiliate ID" (affiliates can choose their own, minimum 4 characters). Then visitors would have to type coupon code somewhere before making a purchase. The customization routine will process the code and associate current purchase with sponsoring affiliate. Everything else is done by standard module functionality.

• Q: Is there a manual for this module? I have downloaded and installed successfully but I have questions.

  A: Hi Sal, Our module can be integrated with any e-commerce or shopping cart module. Please download the documentation here http://www.stpsystems.com/Documentation/DNN%20Affiliate%20Manager%20-%20Admin%20Manual.zip then open DNN Affiliate Manager - Admin Manual on page #11. • Q: Does this have web services?

  A: No. This module has to be installed on the same site where you want to track visitors. The only thing we do using web service technology is allowing Affiliates to see their traffic statistics.

• Q: Can I have users who register to my DNN site automatically added to the affiliate program? Or will a user have to fill out 1 form to register to my site and THEN a 2nd form to set-up their affiliate account? Thank you.

  A: Please keep in mind even if User is registered he/she still has to fill out specific information like Tax ID (SSN) and bank/paypal account information in order to become an Affiliate. In addition, our signup form is "smart" enough to avoid asking user to fill out redundant information like their name and etc. We automatically populate our signup form with all information we can find in DNN user profile.

• Q: Hi, Will this module easily integrate with the Smith Shopping featured on snowcovered? What would be involved to pair the two?

  A: This module currently comes with built-in integration for: "CATALooK.netStore" and "ASPDN StoreFront". We offer 3 ways to get Affiliate Manager integrated with your favorite eCommerce module: 1. Utilize "ready-to-use" scripts that displayed when you create any trigger Event. 2. Use API capabilities of the module and adapt our source examples (provided for free upon request). 3. We can add a built-in integration for your favorite eCommerce module for a small fee.

• Q: I just purchased DnnShoppe Enterprise Edition by Creative Media DNN. I am planning to use authorize.net for the gateway for multiple stores. Will DNN Affiliate Manager 3.2 work in this environment? What are the license conditions for multiple stores in a single install of DNN?

  A: 1) The DNN Affiliate Manager 3.2 can be integrated with virtually any eCommerce environment although you may have to posses basic programming skills. Alternatively we can install and integrate the module per your specification for a fee. 2) The module does not support multi-portal configuration; i.e. you can run only one module per single install of DNN.

• Q: Can you explain more about the Catalook integration? Any demo? If I purchase the module does it come with the Catalook integration?

• Q: Does the Affiliate Manager offer support for multi-tier (pyramid type) sales structures as well as managing multiple affiliate programs?

• Q: I want to use it on a site with a Catalook shopping cart and a Authorize.net payment gateway. The completion event will be a purchase. How much integration effort is involved? What the nature of the integration?

  A: We just finished beta-testing of a new module version that has an automatic Catalook integration. It works with all Catalook supported payment options and merchant gateways. The integration is a matter of checking an option in the administrative panel. This new version will be considered as "free upgrade" until we publish it as a separate listing.

• Q: When will this module support DotNetNuke 4.9.4 and 5.1.1?

  A: This module is fully compatible with DNN 4.9.x, DNN 5.1.x and DNN 5.2.x

• Q: Will this module allow me to offer a dual commission structure where affiliates get paid on two levels of sales?

• Q: Is there a way to pay all affiliates completely automatically using PayPal? I mean like a bulk multi-payment at a given day of the month to all affiliates who earned minimum amount of commission qualified for payment.

  A: Currently you can do everything you described in the semi-automatic way. I.e. once an affiliate has reached qualified minimum you will receive an email indicating that commission payment is due. All you need to do is to follow the link in your email and click on "Pay by PayPal button". We are planning to add bulk "mass payment" PayPal option in the very near future. This will be a FREE upgrade to everyone who already purchased this module.

• Q: I want to sell products on the web and have my distributors each have their own website and be able to track their sells and be able to pay them for their sales. Will this program work or do you have any other products?

  A: If your distributors are "sending" visitors to purchase products on your website then this module is exactly what you need. In other words the actual conversion event (i.e. the purchase) has to happen on the same site where Affiliated Manager is installed. • Q: What affiliate tracking mechanism do you support? How is the affiliate payment handled? Are affiliate placed in a security role?

  A: 1) We assign a Unique Global Identifier (GUID) to each Affiliate Partner. This GUID is embedded in HTML code snippet that partner is placing on their website. 2) Visitors are tracked by Cookies. You can set the Cookie expiration time (the default is 30 days). 3) The Affiliate Program administrator can choose to pay by check, direct ACH deposit or PayPal. Administrator receives an email alert when affiliate commission is due. PayPal payments are handled automatically. Currently checks and direct ACH deposits are to be processed manually by the Administrator who will also be updating payment status and transaction confirmation number on the Payment Details form. 4) You can assign any security role to the Affiliate Partner user group just by using DNN standard User Role mechanism.
