• Q: What is the difference between your Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Login products??

  A: Hi Ted. These modules are designed to handle specialized functions related to registration and login separately. With Dynamic Registration, you can set up a form with basic and extended fields mapped to profile properties to create and manage user accounts. • Q: I have a question about which of your modules I should combine to achieve the end result I'm after. I recently used your registration and user directory modules for a member organization web site. Works great! Now, I want to do essentially the same thing (e.g. like the member directory), only with products for display (fields to "drill down" information include 1. country, 2. producers in each country, 3. products of each producer, and 4. detail of each product). This is not ecommerce so I don't want to use a store module. I really do want it to display like it does in the member directory, only they are all "users" and I don't really want "products" to be users. Should I use the forms module to capture the information as opposed to the registration module? Ultimately, I want to get to a display and search capabilities like there is in the user directory module. Your recommendations? I would like to use your 4.0 suite of modules to do this. Thanks.

• Q: I need more clarification, enterprise vs developer, i am not satisfied with the explanation given on the website.

  A: Hi. The key question in deciding which license to get is WHO OWNS the SITE/INSTALLATION. The enterprise edition is a license for unlimited # of DNN installations/sites that you own. For example, if you are a real estate business with multiple sites such as www.myrealestatelistings.com and www.buymyrealestatebook.com and www.realestateinvesting.com, and you are the rightful owner of all these sites, then the enterprise will be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you are a developer implementing sites for your many clients and would like to avoid the step of having to purchase individual licenses for each client, then you will need the developer license.   A: Yes. As long as you are part of the most recent Data Springs Modules Collection you are entitled to all new module updates and releases. We are in the process of rolling out Dynamic Views and it should be published as a new download within the collection package. Thanks!

  A: Yes it does (at least with all beta and release canidates). We are working to update all listings for DNN 5.x but they for already support it.

• Q: I am interested in purchasing the collection. But since I haven't used these modules in depth I don't know how useful they are. Is it possible to purchase the modules and then if they work out, upgrade the license so that I can have the source code as well?

  A: Yes, if you decide to upgrade to the source version you can then purchase that package and we can refund your original purchase.
