In order to reduce chargebacks on orders placed by credit card, the Store makes use of a third-party fraud detection service to identify risky orders.   Occasionally, an order you place may be flagged by this system.

When an order is flagged, it will appear as “Pending Review” in your My Orders page.  Store staff will perform a review of the order; once completed, the item will be available to download.

Flagging of orders occurs on less than 5-percent of all orders placed.  Customers can lessen the chance of orders being flagged by providing accurate information in the billing field (including city names, country, postal codes, etc).  The use of a private email address in the billing field is also recommended.

  • Do not hesitate to ask Store support staff for additional details on why your order may have been sent for review. Also, consider using PayPal as an alternative payment option; the PayPal Guest feature allows you to pay with a credit card without the need for a PayPal account. - Q&A Store Answerer 10/4/2012
