This skin is mostly good - there were a few issues with it working properly in DNN 5 which was quickly resolved by the creator.
It loses one star for not having an easily editable flash banner and one for the cost (which would be acceptable if it did include an easily editable flash banner).
The one major issue is the flash banner. It is just an Flash file which you edit yourself in Adobe Flash (assuming you have Adobe Flash). There are no nice background images, just people on a green field (which, again, you would have to change in Adobe Flash). It is not reliant on an xml file or a folder path - you actually MUST edit the .fla file and save as an .swf!
This is not what I would expect from a flash banner included with a DNN skin! Especially at this price! Our client will now have to purchase a content rotator - we are recommending DNNSpot's jquery slideshow module. It is a shame this was so poorly executed. It seems like they just threw it in since other skins offer Flash, n
Licensing is misleading and support has not followed through with a fix or replacement license as promised. If you want to use this on more than one portal in a single DNN installation, it will not work! You need to buy the enterprise!
Great content rotator - jquery options for easing, bounce, elastic, etc. make it highly customizable based on the clients sites we have used it on! Completely editable area in rich text, easily add image links, etc to slides. Height does NOT vary by slide size but is set to largest slide! No page jumping! Winxnet
Looks nothing like the image.
No rounded corners, big blue border around the outside edge, poor quality image in header.
See the skin on their site: Looks nothing like the image.
No rounded corners- oductId=63
I would give this 5 stars because we've used it on a number of projects now, but there is one issue that irritates me. There is some css styling built into the viewfeed.ascx file that I always have to either remove or use a hack to overide. Also there is an HR below the title that should be removed or given a class so you can display:none; it, I am for removal since you can always add an underline to the feed title class. At least you can edit the veiwfeed.ascx file!
This worked great on one site but when I tried putting it on another site I get a "Critical Error...ambiguous match found" and I cannot change the sequence or transition.
This product is horrible. It doesn't even work in IE 6.0. If it works at all it has to work in IE 6.0.
