Feed Reader Lite - 02.04.80

user icon Great Customer Support and this reader will pretty much display all RSS feeds well, even if there is some errors in the RSS Feed code. I have now used 3 different companies RSS programs and also the one from DNN, but this is the only one that I have found to display properly. Need a RSS reader, this is the one.

Max Skin Pack
Joel H (8) says... 4 4.0

user icon Finally I found a simple skin pack at a great price that works well with lots of layout variations. Support Is good too... Update - Support has been terrible in the last couple weeks, you send an email, he responds within a few days maybe. I'm going on a week since I sent an email and yet no response. Not good, especially for a basic question.

user icon Hi Joel, I did not receive any emails from you. I'm finding it quite strange as I have always replied to any queries submitted by other customers. Could you please re send your email on this account info.fthompson@gmail.com as their might be an issue with the other email account. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Regards, Frank

user icon I give this two stars so far, it's a really neat skin, but unfortunatly it does not work properly and I have contacted support for help but no response. Hopefully they will respond at some point in time because I still would like to use the product.

Site Track 2.0 for DNN
Joel H (8) says... 3 3.0

user icon I give it 3 stars because I think that's fair, and I have yet to install the software on my site. The documentation is a nightmare and all over the place, especially if your not very technical. there are a couple of directories in the zip file, and they both have many installation files, but the instructions don't simply tell you which directory to install the files from. I did contact the company for help and they did respond, but basically told me to go through the instructions, which I mentioned weren't clear to me the first time. I sent another email explaining the situation, got a brief answer and was told to go through the instructions again. Obviously I didn't understand how his instructions flowed, but it seems that he did not want to take the time to explain how to do a basic install of the software.

user icon how much more information can we provide? the client gave us a very generalistic request for help the first time. we gave him the step by step instructions on how to set it up. the second email he stated he didn't know what modules to install, etc - we told him exactly what modules to install - there's even a readme document called "how to install and uninstall a module" included in case the user does not know how to install a module. We can only provide the details or respond to a question based upon the information the client / customer asks for, or requests assistance with.

user icon Awesome module, works great with no issues while using and configuring, but might want to make sure it's going to work with your skin.

user icon Nice functional app, but does not give you an option to export the results for later use.

user icon Great app, would be nice if you could select a group of people instead one-by-one for giving access to a file or many files.

Active Forums 3.7 Professional

user icon If you going to want the Banner Integration that comes with the Pro version, then plan on using the DNN core modules to accomplish this. Other than that, the standard version will do just fine. The forums works just like forums should, I really couldn't tell if this forum module id better than the DNN version.
