VERY useful application if you want to build personalized TEXT/HTML modules on your site based on user or group membership. Usage is the same as the core txt/html mod except it include tokens that allow you to customize the text.
Decent application for quickly implementing customer testimonials on your pages. It's fairly straight forward to configure and deploy.
This type of module can be helpful for returning site visitors who are looking to find where they last left of or to quickly find information that they previously found. The downside to the module is that it only tracks by page name. Therefore, if you have dynamic content that uses the same page then the information is not tracked.
Solid module. If you want to have complete control of the login module then this is your answer. I strongly recommend getting the Dynamic Registration as well along with the Opt-In mod to have ultimate control of the process. The only downside is that you can't rename the username input label. This would be helpful in the event you use email addresses as a username. Minor issue but would help with the usability factor.
Having issues with the built-in DNN search as in NO results? We had the same issues until we came across Open Search. Within just a few minutes we had the application up and running and it was pulling relevent results from our pages. The only downside is that build inclusion rules is pretty hairy and there are no means of adding exclusion rules. None the less, very solid application.
If you want to add a newsletter subscription to your site then this is the package. We were able to have everything setup and running in just a few minutes. The only downside is that we wish it had more features ( the same features lacking in ALL OTHER email opt in mods).
Two thumbs up for this app. If you want to add in some of the new Web 2.0 functions then this is your app. We have tested it with videos and pictures with great success.
Very cool module for adding social links to your pages very quickly. With the way social networks are growing a mod like this on every page of your site is highly recommended to help grow your website traffic.
The UVG 2.0 solved our video management problem. We offer a lot of training and how-to videos for configuring SonicWALL equipment. UVG provided a EASY TO USE means of organizing AND controlling access to the content. Without a doubt the support form the vendor is 5 stars as well.
